Default Beta STs in Video Games

Some thing to do for fun on here. Don't really care to go into subtypes as fictional characters are fairly one-dimensional. I use Model G.

    SLEs:
    Leo (Zone of The Enders)
    Rayne (Blood Rayne)
    Claire Redfield (Resident Evil 2)
    Ada Wong (Resident Evil 2)
    Vergil (Devil May Cry 3)
    Sundowner (Metal Gear Rising)
    Agent 47 (Hitman)
    King (Tekken)
    Stinger (Armored Core)

    LSIs:
    Ico (Ico)
    Leon (Resident Evil 2)
    Hunk (Resident Evil 2)
    Dante (Devil May Cry)
    Jill Valentine (Resident Evil 3)
    Solid Snake (Metal Gear)
    James Bond (Goldeneye 64)
    Max Payne (Max Payne)
    621 (Armored Core)

Where is Kratos from "God of War" ? Do you consider him as Delta or something ?

    Off topic rambling on /

My God I feel so "has been" when it comes to video game. I observe the evolution of the industry from afar but I haven't played a video game since about seven years. I think the last one I played was the last PS3 Prince of Persia - The Forgotten Sands . I stopped buying consoles (playstations exclusively since the PS1) at the seventh generation. I've never had a Microsoft console (x-Box). I stopped playing Nintendo assiduously* with the SNES. Although I did** play a bit of Zelda ocarina of time in my older brother N64 then I replayed it on emulator. I started that game when it first came out and I've never finished it. I keep going back to it every 8 years or so but I had to restarted from scratch several times because after that long you are disconnected from the story and forget where you were in the game. I don't know why I still consider myself a "gamer", maybe because I can't let go of anything that I've identify with in the past and has been consolidated to the structure of the chimera that I am.

    \Off topic rambling off

Edit : * and ** Added three words to avoid contradiction ! Safe !

Sean Diaz (He is soo beuatiful !)

    LSI :

Oh God, there are so many. For this, I will make it on western, and not eastern (socionics):

Note: you’ve to understand beta is the most typical quadra for entertainment and action with expression
    • I hate Mario, but Bowser (sle)
    • Wario (sle)
    • Donkey Kong (sle, I never played classic or much of him, but maybe in some he’s an SEE)
    • Some expressions of Ganondorf like Tears of the Kingdom (sle)
    • Frog from Chrono Trigger is probably an lsi, though SLI is not terrible for him either
    • Queen Zeal is sle or eie
    • Grizham is sle or eie (Zelda)
    • Midna from twilight can be either eie or sle.. I think EP honestly makes more sense for her and Fe+ but her natural form may be ili from what I’ve seen on YouTube.. I only got to the lake hylia because my mother had given away my wii when I was 10
    • Durania (ocarina) sle
    • Yuri Lowell: sle for sure in the anime, he is lsi-lie in video game.. In terms of G, he could just be an accentuated Fi sle-h in the game that went to harmonizing from creative
    • Charizard— sle (Ash’s main one in anime and super smash)
    • I honestly think Sonic the hedgehog is sle in some games and SEE in others (I didn’t play much).. I also think he is an SLE in Sonic X

I never played anything with him outside of smash brothers, but Captain Falcon kind of seems like an lsi..

    • Some of the jock profile types in Animal Crossing are SLE (and SEE)
    • A lot of the mercenaries and knights in fire emblem: 3 houses are lsi’s.. A great example of an eie and lsi duality is Setteth (lsi) and lady Rhea (eie).. Lsi Felix (fighter), rodrigue (lsi-h or c)
    • detective agent in Spyro may be lsi, but I don’t know enough about him..
    • Flynn Schifo: lsi (semi dual and possibly yuri also is, of Estellise, an ese)
    • Raz Valkyria Chronicle.. I think he is an SLE in some models and an SEE in others.
    • Minerva Victor- LSI-D
    • Groose (skyward sword) sle
    • metaknight feels like an lsi
    • some of the skull people in sun and moon pokemon are lsi and sle, I don’t have names
    • I can’t tell if crunch bandicoot is sle or see because I didn’t play very much Spyro or Crash, only when I had a DS a little (when I was like 6, the age my parents let me have a console, and so I was a complete beginner and wasn’t a serious gamer, and was too busy with all the sports they forced me in)..
    • the death school antagonist in wizard101 is an lsi or ili
    • aka aka in crash is lsi-ili area (think his name was Malistair(e) or something.

I am in my head; not society.

Yes, that is who I am, hence the bold am. Also, a brain angel. (+ my own incarnation of a Zelda concept).

My thoughts align w action to succeed what needs (at least in my dreamed ideal, they do)…

As for Midna, maybe her monkey form symbolizes an ili into sle type shift in G, but I still would prefer to type the Monkey Midna as a separate entity, because she has changed and evolved into a new form through curses, which can alter personalities.

Frog from Chrono Trigger is LII like St. George the Dragon-Slayer. Flynn Scifo is the same type and exists in an extinguishment intertype relationship with Yuri Lowell.

Sonic the Hedgehog is LIE hell-designer which is why autistic men love him.

Queen Zeal is an egomaniac like King Neptune, but the kingdom she reigns over is LIE and future-oriented. Magus is IEE like Hinata Hyuuga and is a weak character (needs special gemstones and women to succeed).

Bowser is a minion-maker like the Borg (SLE).

Mario is in the club of socials ({SEI, SEE, ESE, ESI}). He's Tarzan King of the Apes, the flying artillery.

To me, queen zeal is a very unhealthy sle who seeks Ni+ (future) and can’t do it on her own and seeks her dual, Schala, an iei, to try fulfill it because she cannot..

Schala is definitely Lisa Simpson. You got that one right. Anything that involves being trapped forever (finite volumes) is either IEI or EII.

Also what model G would call a “central” type.. That is a given. There, she may be a dominant subtype, making her seem Te ego ish in some facets, with her mission block being already

Peripheral means E and central means I. In fact, that's almost the definition of E/I. E stands for excluded and goes to the periphery and I stands for included and goes to the center.

Centralized systems are always neurotic basketcases unwilling to fix themselves therefore every successful system is distributed and subsequently E. But because natural law prefers LII, therefore they receive the most honor.

Here is another obvious one :Simon Belmont (and his bloodline) from Castlevania. I believe the quasi totality of playable characters in the Castlevania Saga* are STs.

    * (I hate the word "franchise" btw ! It is the nemesis of "work of art" in my book but I'm biased ! )

Wander from Shadow of the Colossus. I remember when that game first came out it was in PS2. It was one of my best video game experience ever. I mean, I loved that game so much ! I haven't played it since but it is in my top 5 of the Best video Games Ever created. 10/10 !

It's one of the few games I would give a perfect score, despite some obvious technical flaws. The atmosphere is unmatched. I just love how well the vast world is designed and how minimalism is used in such an effective way to create an otherwordly feeling to everything. It's just you and your horse with a simple yet effective story that creates this mysterious vibe. I'm a big fan of games that potray isolation yet manage to give your actions a greater meaning. Mesmerizing bosses, fantastic soundtrack. It really has it all. (Here I am, alone with my IEI typings, how could I not find such concepts appealing?)

What would be the other games in your top 5? I wonder if you have ever played From Software games. I'm pretty sure you would love Demon's Souls (PS3, the remake looks awful).

If Jung based his theories on the people he met in his life, even if he met more people than the average person, that means that he based his theories on a certain type of person. The type of person who might go to him for therapy or talks, or who might believe the esoteric ideas he was spouting at the time. Thus it's possible that he did not categorize all humans into types, but just made subtypes for a specific type of person. This overarching type of person is the same type that is heavily interested in theories of this kind, and whom Alive says is an IEI.

Therefore, Alive is right. We are all IEIs with subtypes. With that, I'm off this forum

I couldn't say it better. That game is really a beautiful masterpiece. I gave it a perfect score too. I'm happy to see that not only you have good musical tastes but also good video game tastes !

I haven't play a video game since about 7 years. I know about the "Souls" saga and that kind of game is indeed appealing (I like difficult games btw, I'm (or was ?) kinda skilled in video games in general). If only I could find back the will to play. I think what can motivate me to play is to be able to talk about the game and share my experiences, recommend it or not etc.. The thing is that I don't have friends, it all boils down to that, always... I miss conviviality, you know, the "Nintendo spirit" and all that.

I said several times in this forum that I have a lot of "top 5 " which contain way more than 5 "items". When I say that a game is in my "Top 5" I basically mean that I like it very very much !!

My favorite solo games are the ones in which you can be totally immersed in a fantasy world or in infiltration game.

I loved the splinter cell saga and Metal gear solid. I like Zelda and the like type of games. Seiken Densetsu (Secret of Mana), Heroic fantasy. Some RPGs, I loved Chrono trigger (it's definitely in the top 5), Suikioden also in the top 5. I like adventure games God of War, Prince of persia, Uncharted...

I am also a VS fighting type of guy Street Fighter II is at the top of my top 5 VS fighting games I like Fatal Fury, Samurai Shodown, soul calibur, Tekken, etc.. I also played a lot I mean a lot of PES (Pro Evolution Soccer) with family members back in the days. I've never been a FIFA guy but rumour has it that PES is crap now..

Anyways here is an attempted top 5 ranking that I am making up just for this post

    1. Street Fighter II (arcade and SNES)
    2. Shadow of the Colossus
    3. Zelda a link to the past (snes) and Ocarina of Time (sorry I had to put them together !)
    4. Metal Gear solid 2 (PS2)
    5. Splinter Cell 2 (PS2)

It's an impossible list, I'm dying !! There are so many other games that I really loved !
Lack is the Muse of all Poets

I hope not to be out of line, but here is a video montage I made on the Left4dead2 game where I think my Se is valued. It was a contact who filmed and gave me his screenshots. The SLE that I talked about on another topic is Lucelem.

And here are video montages on the game Life is strange 1 and 2. At that time, I had not typed Chloe Price and Sean Diaz SLE.

    Epic vidéo :

And my favorite that also shows a lot of help in the game :

I think the difficulty of Souls games is a bit overblown, especially for the older games. Yes, you will struggle at some points, but like all games with level mechanics, you can essentially make the game easier if you want that. The first Souls games are much slower if you compare it to Sekiro (which is probably the most difficult) or Elden Ring but even in the latter you can pretty much create builds that trivialize bosses. I just don't know if you have any PS3. God Hand for the PS2 might be something for you if you like fighting games (I'm not so interested in them). I've played all Splinter Cell games until Conviction which was very boring and forgettable. I'm surprised you prefer 2 to 3 considering the latter is superior in every way imo but Pandora Tomorrow had arguably one of the coolest missions of the franchise (the train one) even though it was very short.

I think my favorite games are:

    Outer Wilds
    Sekiro
    Mother 2
    SotC
    Hollow Knight
    Silent Hill 2
    Bloodborne
    Deus Ex
    Katamari Damacy
    We Love Katamari
    Demon's Souls
    Dark Souls

If Jung based his theories on the people he met in his life, even if he met more people than the average person, that means that he based his theories on a certain type of person. The type of person who might go to him for therapy or talks, or who might believe the esoteric ideas he was spouting at the time. Thus it's possible that he did not categorize all humans into types, but just made subtypes for a specific type of person. This overarching type of person is the same type that is heavily interested in theories of this kind, and whom Alive says is an IEI.

Therefore, Alive is right. We are all IEIs with subtypes. With that, I'm off this forum

Yes I'm familiar with the "die and retry" type of games and their level of difficulties, but like I said, I'm really skilled in video games and I have a very strong will . I finish what I start, the problem is to start... Video games are to me what the control function is to Model G ; High on information but low on Energy... I've always been up to date about what is going on in the video game industry even if I don't play them like I used to be.

I do have a PS3 (in fact I have two of them, I gave the 60 gig version (retro-compatible with PS2 games) to my little sister a long while ago.) and a bunch of other consoles.

As for Splinter Cell, I played all that I could (1,2 and 3) but I might have confounded the 2 and the 3 (I don't remember the games vividly, I just know that I liked them very much !).

I think my favorite games are:

    Outer Wilds
    Sekiro
    Mother 2
    SotC
    Hollow Knight
    Silent Hill 2
    Bloodborne
    Deus Ex
    Katamari Damacy
    We Love Katamari
    Demon's Souls
    Dark Souls
Great ! The only game I played from that list is SotC.

    @Still Alive

After having watched this video, I realized that I was indeed wrong about the Splinter Cell game in my "Top 5 list ". It was "Splinter Cell (3) -Chaos Theory" that I was referring to and liked not the splinter cell 2 (Pandora tomorrow) which was good but not as good as SC 3. I haven't played any of the SC games that came after Chaos theory.

    • Charizard— sle

    • aka aka in crash is lsi-ili area
I don't think you can type Charizard, because "Charizard" is a species of pokemon and not a single character, unless you're typing a very specific individual Charizard ofc. In pokemon games each pokemon has their own nature, they are different in how they act and what they are strong in based on it.

I went by his ability to exert volition and force, and him having dysfunctional relations an d abandoning them.. (plus ep) of course each pokemon has a different personality in the actual.. video game catching, but in speaking the poster child default (the anime, super smash bro brawl version, one often depicted in videogame battles with the trainer).

as I explained, this is not the ego block type of socionics because I’d have replay.. western socionics concerns behavior, values and social role (eastern is about how outlooks form relative to ego-placement of functions). The main charizard Ash has is bad with relations, exerts force and shows it off with an ease, and is scattered and EP-like.. Aristocratic.. By his behavior and some of his values, you can get sle from that.. I prefer to use typologies that don’t avert on as much superficial archetypes, like the ego block, but it would require me to look at dialogue of the characters, and I don’t have enough energy for this and I don’t remember everything, and charizard and pokemon other than Mew2 and the anime meowth would be able to type in ego blocks, due to not talking, you’d have to maybe hear the trainers talk to them and have indirect cues.

I am in my head; not society.

Yes, that is who I am, hence the bold am. Also, a brain angel. (+ my own incarnation of a Zelda concept).

My thoughts align w action to succeed what needs (at least in my dreamed ideal, they do)…
