exxj every single one! anyone else noticed this? a lot of politicians too. they get stuck in their little systems that everyone ceases to pay attention to but them and the world passes them by. they're like a sad parent that tries to stay "hip" to the new generation and end up saying things like "Cowabunga man, I use email too so I'm down with your generation fo-shizzle."

    sorry for the rant
    :edit:
i'm not very familiar with them though. first guy looks ixxj colmes N of some sort which would fit from what i have heard him say.

sorry about the rant but i do serious tend to think of "those people" who like try to take the "balanced approach" to whatever the economy, foreign affairs, etc as exxj. it seems that there are a lot of exxjs represented in semi-conservative white mid-wealthy to wealthy (120k+) circles also.

My impression of Hannity was SEE, but ESE could work as well.
But, for a certainty, back then,
We loved so many, yet hated so much,
We hurt others and were hurt ourselves...

Yet even then, we ran like the wind,
    Whilst our laughter echoed,
    Under cerulean skies...

I used to watch that channel more and then all the politicking just turned me off. And that applies to a lot of the news in general, and with politics in general.

sean hannity looks like an ex of mine, who also reminds me of george bush. i always thought the ex was ENTp (squinty look, didn't think an ethical type could be so politically cut-throat.) but maybe he's ESFj? that might explain why he's my ex.

on that note, i think a lot of political pundits are ESFj.

let's add soledad o'brien into the mix.

quote my dad: "that soledad o'brien. she really kicks my balls."

    and james carville.

those were my answers. i always thought that hannity and colmes would have been way more interesting/entertaining had they used carville instead of alan colmes. i would totally watch that.

lol that would be interesting - but then there would be too much tension. Since Colmes is laid back there isn't too much conflict. But with Carville Hannity and him would be at each others throats and it wouldn't be the most pleasant or relaxing to watch.

Notice how Carville looks a lot like Solow in my economists thread.

are you kidding!? it would be the most awesome thing ever to watch then.

    right now it's like:

sean hannity makes some big hey i'm a huge christian claim and i'm fighting for the people that is generally based on nothing but sounds really good and patriotic.

alan "milquetoast" colmes puts up this really half-assed argument and sort of meakly defends his point for the "liberal" side.

sean hannity proceeds to bulldoze the hell out of alan colmes by just raising his volume.

i sort of think alan colmes is INTj sometimes.

    rinse & repeat.

it's like they took the pussiest, physically meakest, quietest guy they could find and pitted him against the most "all american" steakhouse-loving sort of christian conservative hunk. i don't know. that show makes me want to vom.

but yes, carville does look a lot like solow. <3 james carville.

ah, yeah! i remember briefly when he was a little more aggressive in defending his p.o.v. i suppose it doesn't matter much to colmes anyway because i'm sure he goes home with a hefty paycheck. i have all these big failed dreams for colmes. i want to see him get pissed and pull a carville/o'reilly move one day or at least call bullshit on hannity.

I avoid this sort of television. The spoken word is meant to facilitate collaboration, ideas, personal stories(I am sure there are plenty more). I think news is much more accurate, factual and easier to digest in written form. Newscasters are entertainers.
