@End -- if you're going to recommend a book, you should participate in previous discussions. People can't just come in and have people read their books, but not read anyone else's!

So far I haven't seen a lot of people respond. I'm still OK to do a video call, no matter how few people join, but do you think it would be better to just write up our thoughts about the book and post them in this thread? I'm wondering if that would encourage camera-shy people, or people with inconvenient schedules, to participate. I can even merge multiple people's posts into a single one to centralize them.

@FreelancePoliceman you can have a video chat in discord and camera shy people can type there as you're having the discussion. only problems i can think of with that rn is some ppl for some reason, even if they are faceless and muted, still dont want to join a voice chat, and some may struggle typing or paying attention to text and voice simultaneously. or you can make a private recording that texters can watch after you're done and they can share their thoughts to it.

Yes, of course it's easier to post our thoughts in this thread. I just thought it was pretty cool to have a video meeting, but maybe it's just my Fe speaking. It's definitely easier to communicate in text. Or maybe we could have both after posting our thoughts here. We'll see.

Is September 15:th a good date as a final deadline. It's a Sunday. People have time to finish the book during that weekend if they haven't finished it earlier. I will read the book and write down my thoughts by then and post it here that very day.
