Jack is an NT because he's extremely imaginative in a rather dark kind of way. Aside from a few pep talks he gave on camera in School of Rock, he doesn't strike me as a feeling type at all. Beyond that, it's tricky. Times I thought he was ENTP because he's such a showman, other times I thought INTJ because he loves giving orders to people with an emotional flair (more or less rules out ENTJ). INTP is another possibility. I lean toward INTJ because I see a lot of him in myself, and also he reminds me a ton of Stephen Colbert, another INTJ.

No offense, but it's not a wild guess at all, the problem is that you know nothing whatsoever about Socionics typing. INTj? INTp? .

If you "wonder" about it, it's because you have simply refused to accept that and still assume that it's the same as your understanding of MBTI. I have explained it to you carefully over PM, but I can see that it was pointless.

As the people above have seen, what is most obvious about him is that he's Alpha or Beta, and most probably a sensor although Rocky suggested ENTp. What most people have also noticed is the irrationality. So, Alpha/Beta sensor + irrationality = ISFp or ESTp. The other guesses - ESFp, ENTp, ESFj - are variations from that.

But what no one would think of suggesting, with base on Socionics, is INTj or even INTp.

If you decline to try to understand Socionics typing, that is fine -- but then please do not call other people's informed typings as "wild guesses".

It would be more accurate for you to write, "I have no idea of what you are talking about, but in MBTI my opionion is this" etc etc .

you know that jerky thing he does with his head? I do that too. It's not something i am fond of, i dont know if i don't like it yet. But I think Ti looks like that; a few people who have seen me say they see it from the movements. I have begun to pick up on that with people irl lately... not sure if its Ti and not Ji, but I think its Ti.

Also, on the Nacho Libre featurettes the production people are like he is so physical, blah blha he wanted to get in there (stuntwise). So that's why I think he's ESTp so far. Plus VI.

OK. I'm gonna have to go ahead and claim him as an Ne-ILE, though I can see the Fe-SEI as a possibility. And this is not just because some people have said that I look like him. (I've gotten this many times before, actually. My singing voice has been compared to his as well, especially in the way I modulate it.)

My reason for the Ne-ILE claim is that I see his Fe as some sort of goal, not a natural outpouring of a natural train of thought. His ability to express himself, in a role or in his real-life interviews, seems very static-y to me...it's very unfocused. Additionally, he seems to pace him self like an activation-type EP, with very easy-to-see peaks and troughs in emotional expression. Additionally, he has a cynical edge and a pretty structured undercurrent to his acting, much in the way that I was talking about with the Ti parody-homage of Fe in the "How to spot XLE" thread. In fact, the combination of parody and homage is probably the central focus of his work, in that he exaggerates behaviors to both criticize them, but pay tribute to the sentiment that led to them. This suggests the focused use of Ti as a tool to understand the world, but a strong value for the merits of Fe.
