Yeah... Peter is definitely "heavier" and more serious than any INTp I've ever met. He can be playful, but his natural state is sorta the epitome of IJ-ness, and he also definitely has strong Se (and Fi, but more so Se). He's really not very "dark" at all though.
His pictures show absolutely ZERO sign of anything remotely sensing; personally, I'd say INTj before ISFj. Just thought I'd put that out there. Let's not go into this.

I've had the experience of being both in a almost Alpha-only dinner-and-drinking table and in an almost Beta one.
With Alpha, I am bored and baffled most of the time by what's going on around me, but I feel no threat at all.
With Beta, it's far more likely that the conversation will get me interested in participating, but I feel a sort of threat -- as if I was being marked for later destruction for not engaging in the group loud emotional involvement.
Yeah, that's pretty much exactly what I was thinking, but people flip out and start accusing people of "Beta-bashing" if you sneeze in their direction, so I didn't know if there'd be any point in mentioning it.
As irritating as they are sometimes, I relate to Betas more than Alphas in a lot of ways, the most significant of which is the Resolute dichotomy.

IMO I(N)Tps are "lighter" than I(S)Fjs. IN(T)ps can be a lot less "light" than most other types, and extreme ethical subtype ISFjs can be a lot "lighter" than most ISFjs or INTps... however, I would not use "dark" as an antonym to "light" in the way I'm using the word. Catholic Schoolboy is a good example a an I(N)Tp who is both "light" in the sense I mean and yet quite "dark"
