Is that some 007 villian?
yeah the one with the hat of death from Goldfinger
So what type do you think he is? - clearly an I-type
he's kinda got that fat INTp "I hate you all" face...
ISTj I'd say.

I would go for INTP.

I know you asked Expat, but I would say ISTj because, well, quite simply, he seems pretty physically aware and capable, obviously introverted, unexpressive/unemotive, and, stereotypically, j>p.Originally Posted by CuriousSoul

Well, in my opinion...Originally Posted by Gilligan
If INTPs go evil, it is often because they turn into the logical phanatics that Smilingeyes once mentioned.
Here are two other INTP baddies:
Timothy McVeigh.
“When an aggressor force continually launches attacks from a particular base of operations, it is sound military strategy to take the flight to the enemy.”
Well, for one thing he looks like one I know.
And:
Heinrich Himmler:
"We had the moral right, we had the duty to our people, to destroy this people which wanted to destroy us."
I already had him typed as ENFJ, but then I found his adolescent diaries:

In a sense, it is "the Phaedrus Syndrome". An INTP with the extreme logical subtype actually acting on beliefs that seem to be internally consistent - and therefore by logical necessity correct, and demanding action to be taken - even though the premises on which these logical conclusions are based are totally insane.
(Hopefully, no hard feelings.)
"Arnie is strong, rightfully angry and wants to kill somebody."

this is probably a stupid/obvious observation but wow. he carried that same expression throughout his life. He looks the same here as he does at the end of the war.
"Childhood shows the man, as morning shows the day."
John Milton
PS I am not making any claims as to his type though.
"Arnie is strong, rightfully angry and wants to kill somebody."

Sorry, but your rationale totally sucks, curioussoul, and is based on theoretical manifestations of type that are not in any way based in Socionics.

Well, Oddjob in the movie was Auric Goldfinger's bodyguard and sidekick, his hitman. There is no need to see any kind of ideology, or even to call him "evil". His only visible ideology was loyalty and obedience to Goldfinger.
I agree with Gilligan's points generally, just adding that he was "unemotive" up to a point, given to ironic smiles when beating Bond up or crushing a golf ball. That can be seen as a manifestation of Fe or, if one prefers, of emotion-creating in IJ, which overall fits Oddjob's temperament.
