    Default Christmas Songs

To me may of them seem Alpha, if not Delta, but I'm leaning toward Alpha

Songs like: Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas, The Christmas Song, Let it Snow, Silent Night, I'll Be Home For Christmas, Winter Wonderland, Away in a Manger

    What Do You Think?

Holiday songs... festivities - I enjoy them. Alpha, perhaps.

I enjoyed them as a kid, but now the Holidays are such a burden and lots of extra work. Hearing those songs triggers that feeling of dread.

    aaaaaaaaaaaaaggghhhhhhhhh

i have to play a variety of christmas crap for an upcoming christmas concert. as those that sit near me would tell you, i never stop griping about having to play christmas songs. the day after the concert i will shred all of my music and smash it up into little bits of pulp so that it could never be deciphered again... and next year they will give me new copies of the same damn crap.

Why does it irratate you -- because it's 'so typical', because it's 'so unnecessarily cheery'? What is the cause of the dramatics?

Look at all the hate directed at Christmas carols.

more than anything else, because i've already played them and heard them elsewhere a million fucking times and they're musically uninteresting, unlike much of what we play.

well thats what i was talking about...the christmas songs sung well by johnny cash and frank sinatra, or any other singer you might concider to be good. frank sinatra christmas reminds me of being at my grandmoms when i was little, and that one year where i tried the popcorn string but realized it was very boring to do and just ate the popcorn.

the regular default ones, with like kids singing it or just some random people, can kind of blow though...

I've always loved the Christmas tunes, provided that they do get old after that time, but for those few weeks they're really warm and cheerful, and basically give the message that "everything is ok" which seems Alpha ish.

Jaded pretention and pessimism are of no consequence to those who have realized their uselessness.
But, for a certainty, back then,
We loved so many, yet hated so much,
We hurt others and were hurt ourselves...

Yet even then, we ran like the wind,
    Whilst our laughter echoed,
    Under cerulean skies...

you know you can just delete posts if no one else has posted after you yet?

Like I've said before, I would love Christmas if it only lasted a day or two... but no, it lasts like 2 friggin months. The whole country is in a state of upheaval and I have no choice in whether or not it affects me. It's the sense of unwanted obligation that I dislike.

But even if Christmas did only last a couple of days, I still wouldn't like most Christmas songs.

indeed; more recently i've been seeing myself as gamma values (especially the way expat put it as anti-alpha) and gamma relationships paired with .

    translation: i have no clue.

i tend to think that may be difficult to evaluate on the context of an internet forum, but i agree with you. based on my interpretation on the functions, Fe hardly makes sense as being in the super-id block. yet, > (though Te is not weak) and >>> (by my insufficient interpetations.)
