umm when you said the comment box do you mean you just put the link in here? that's what i did but then it's like, all inconvenient looking
click on the portrait and put the link in there! It should embed alright, then! But you want to put from URL
also, for some reason I have to uncheck the blue checkmark or it won’t work for me (but that could be just on my end for some reason)

i tried to quote your post and saw that it just copied the image and i was like wut lol
so i tried copy+paste straight off of imgur and that worked. for some reason when i did the image URL thing it just like ignored it

I'm constantly looking to align the real with the ideal.I've been more oriented toward being overly idealistic by expecting the real to match the ideal. My thinking side is dominent. In future:
either, 1) right click the image, then in the menu that appears click "Copy Image Link" or similar (that's true for Firefox),
or 2) right click the image, then in the menu that appears click "Open Image in New Tab" or similar (that's true for Firefox), then copy the link from the address bar.
Then, in the forum, when posting a message, put the link in tags [img](image link goes here)[/img], and post.
Gives me Twin Peaks (TV show) vibes.
