I think cataloguing things is more for Ni-doms, I just prefer to decide things spontaniously.

I think we Ni-doms should come together and pursue our interest in cataloguing by compiling a list of people typed IEI by @Alive. I realize that since most of the forum is IEI, there are many people I'm missing, so feel free to comment and I'll add people to this list. For now I have:

I'd rather not derail this thread with criticisms of Alive's methods. I just think a list like this would be interesting to keep, and I think a lot of people here think the same. And who knows, maybe this list will help us realize our commonalities.

I have never typed Adam Strange as IEI, and I don't know who chriscorey is. blaecaedre and poptart I'm not completely sure, maybe more of the former, while I haven't interacted much with the latter. The rest are IEI, though. Two gets an honorable mention

I think there's a difference between confidently typing someone as a type and making a vague guess because I felt like it.

OK, apologies for misremembering -- I thought you had typed Strange as IEI once. I interpreted a post you made in the typing of forum members thread as saying you thought blaecaedre was IEI, and Poptart from another post there.

well the point I'm making is that IEI is the type that is the most likely to be interested in novel concepts and therefore bound to be a visionairy in a field they pursue, especially since Ni base goes autistically in-depth in a field they find interesting. IEI are not so rare in the city, while at the countryside it's much more common to encounter sensing types. somewhere down the road, if they have the choice between pursuing an idealistic dream or the prospect of money, sensing types will almost always choose money, the pragmatic option, but it means that they won't be at the top of a field and therefore not in my gallery. in the end, it's a difference in perspective. most people here think any type can be anything. I don't agree with that at all, and I'm pretty sure my perspective makes more sense. Personally I'm not so bothered if people disagree here, it's an esoteric website with no influence, and people cling to outdated definitions they have learned years ago. in real life the responses I get are much more positive and people understand where I'm coming from, which makes me optimistic for the future.

DarkAngelFireWolf69 is an LII-C. He's the reason why I got really interested in socionics in the first place because reading his theory is effortless for me. I have never mentioned anything about Talanov ever and never looked at anything he wrote
