    mmmm

I would tend to think it would be easier to mistake an INFj for an INTp than an ISFp for an INTp... imo.

Um, that wasn't what she was saying

INFj, has something in common with INTj and something in common with ISFj

INFp has sometihng in common with ISFp and something in common with INTp

so if a person tends to get mistaken for each of the two "opposites"...then it's more likely to be something in the middle

    Just a thought.

Oh, and are you sure that you are an INF? and what makes you so sure of that if so? What makes you doubt if not?
I feel that I'm an NF based on personal experience and preference. I'm not so much into technology-related stuff and I always fail 'A' Level Physics in school 'cos I just don't understand the logic behind the principles taught. I'm not making an assumption that NFs are weak in Science. What I meant was I'm incapable of dealing with a subject that most NTs excel it. But I'm good in another intuitive subject, Maths (not inclusive of Stats) even though I don't have a strong interest in it. In college, I do well in subjective subjects like Theatre Studies and Japanese studies, much better than my major (Psychology) and business-related courses like Business Law, even though I don't study much for them. My friends have commented that I have a very good judgement of character even when I see people only for the first time. Based on some tests such as mcnew's ones and my personal experience, I gathered that I'm an INF*.

I totally agree with ScarlettLux! The aura and avatar and all that is seriously very INFp.

Just yesterday I noticed a post and I was thinking that you really sound INFp.

yeah, although I don't get that from everyone. Sometimes the "aura" says more about a person than self-descriptions.

Yes, that's how I generally see it.

The key word is "similar" as opposed to "identical". According to what Anndelise and Diana were saying, and I agree with, if you look at a very Ne subtype of INTj, what you see is basically an IJ with a lot of Ne. You don't see the Ti very obviouslym even though it's there.

A very Ne subtype of INTj and one of INFj will both look like Ne IJs, and so very easy to mistake for one another. Yet, the INTj will remain Ti dominant and Merry, and the INFj, Fi dominant and Serious -- you'll just have to look more closely to spot it.

As for eunice's type -- I'd have to re-read her posts
