Default A Hybrid Socionics Test

I'm sorry that the test looks so unaesthetic.

I intend to do a version without Questions 1 to 4 (which are the ones strongest in Socionics dogma). Those are the only 4 questions that are in my previous test.

This test should allow you to find out your Socionics type. It is a hybrid test as it uses source material associated with the Big Five personality model.

Socionics is a personality typology system with 16 distinct kinds of people. Its theoretical model attempts to explain how each individual perceives and interacts with their environment, and describes the nature of interaction between individuals of each of the types.

For each question, you should consider how you are most of the time.

You may wish to copy your answers so you can reflect on them later.

The test involves 15 questions and should take about 5 minutes.

Acknowledgements

Questions 1 to 4 partly utilize Gulenko + Meged & Ovcharov subtype descriptions.; Questions 5, 6, 9, 10, 13, and 14 are Gulenko test questions; Questions 7, 8, 11, 12, and 15 are Big Five statements.

Questions 1-4 most strongly make me go "but it's hard to choose one or the other". I got ILE, which fair, subtypes can do that.

LII. I almost always test as LII sometimes EII and I've tried all the socionics test That I could find several times. I don't think I'm LII though.

Edit : In G test I get EII the most and sometimes IEI but never LII.

kinda hard to do a test when you already know which answer leads to what.

Got IEE. I’ve actually been contemplating EIE vs IEE due to getting along pretty well with SLIs

edit: took it a second time and got IEI.

ILE
The ILE is typically a 'big picture' kind of person, and tends to speak in generalizations about both people and things, omitting any details he deems mundane or uninteresting. He is acutely aware of what interests and what bores him. This leads him to always search for novelty and surprising things.
At any given moment, the ILE usually has a number of projects and/or skills that he is working on developing, and stays with these interests as long as he feels they have potential for growth. The ILE gets bored easily with rote tasks that do involve lots of repetition and little innovation, although he tolerates them if they are necessary to succeed in society.
ILEs interact most favorably with SEIs.

I'm somewhat introverted which I made obvious in some of my answers. Still got ILE.

Also, I don't tend to speak in generalizations about people and things. I don't like logical fallicies.

The definition doesn't seem very NT.

Not for me. I answer honestly. I want to know my type, not what type I think I am....

Funny, guess I won't buy the result of any kind of test from now on:
LSI
LSIs have a strong command of how various systems, structures, and hierarchies around them work, and always have a clear idea of how to implement them and improve them. LSIs quickly and easily determine what is correct and incorrect according to the systems they are familiar with.

LSIs tend to logically analyze just about everything — even close relationships. LSIs view their partners and other members of their household as part of a system which should have a certain structure and order to it. Everything in this system should run like clockwork — scheduling, daily routines, responsibilities in the relationship, and household management.
Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel: "The history of the world is none other than the progress of the consciousness of freedom."

I don't like this test as much as my other one (maybe because I think it's too simplistic, although probably more accurate questions), but I suspect that it's pretty good. It will give some people a different type to their self-typing, but will usually only differ on one or two dichotomies. (This test unlike my last one scores via I/E, N/S, T/F, J/P dichotomies for the most part rather than IMs.

It was just an experiment I was trying, and I don't think a lot of people are ready for Socionics to be defined in terms of the Big Five.

I'm not entirely happy with how you define it, though I see some potential. For example, we both relate agreeablness with the ethics dichotomy, but you seem to think that disagreeable people can't be ethical, a point that I do not share. I relate agreeableness more to Fi, especially Fi+, but you don't believe in cognitive functions at all. It's hard to get a consensus when you just use the four dichotomies.

It's especially disagreeable people I think shouldn't be considered ethical in Socionics terms. My view is that Socionics types have not been adequately defined in terms of behaviour, while Big Five is - and has the bonus of describing behaviour in great depth.

I wonder what this notoriously disagreeable guy would think about this :

There's a distinction between disagreeableness and neuroticism too, that may be difficult to distinguish without referring to a list of traits for each.

I added this test back again if you want to try it. I consider it experimental, so take at your own risk I guess. Maybe I'll remove it again at some point.
