What types you think they are?
Tom Hall (said to have made most of the levels in Episode 2, as well as the story):
John Carmack (he made the engine, came up with the initial idea of starting with aliens then progressing with demons):
John Romero (programmed the tool to design the maps, sprites, as well as made some of the maps. Also helped carmack with the feel of gameplay in the engine):
Adrian Carmack (he was the artist, made the gory and demonic look of the game etc. This is the only footage I found and I believe he says absolutely nothing for 2 hours lol):
Extra info on their personalities:
-in the book masters of Doom, J.Carmack (not related to Adrian) is said to be kind of autistic with a weird speech impairment at the end of the sentences although he fixed it with time. He was kind of a prodigy, too smart for his age although school didn't know what to make of this exactly back then. He was kind of a hermit while programming.
-Adrian used to be pissed off at Tom because he sometimes acted like a kid, making dinosaur sounds just to demonstrate his idea, which was cringy. Adrian didn't like the early games because they were too childish, he enjoyed the more gory and demonic stuff.
-Tom came up with the character "Keen" which is this kid who travels in space and fights aliens with a rocket he built from house and kitchen items. The character was based on himself and he used to go around the house as a kid wearing a football helmed, pretending to be an astronaut or something. Before joining the team he also made games for disabled kids, something like that.
-John Romero had kind of a tough childhood, he used to get beat by his stepfather and also had some artistic talent, he made some gory dark humor comic books who were kind of symbolic of the beatings he used to take. He was also the least nerdy of them all, he dated a bunch of girls since adolescence, married twice or thrice, etc. He also made the infamous Daikatana game.
