Default Star Trek: type Clingons & Vulcans

What is their type? They pretty much have a general persona, it seems.

Worf seems pretty much the same, as he is Clingon... but if you have other speculations, share it.
Posts I wrote in the past contain less nuance.
If you're in this forum to learn something, be careful. Lots of misplaced toxicity.

~a certain mysterious power that may prove terribly fascinating to the extraverted man, for it touches his unconscious.

they're kinda different. worf is very different from the other klingons because he is the only one in starfleet. other klingons are like "dude wtfxup with that" sort of....but more mean. and worf's woman, she is a lot different, but one of her parents was human, her mother i think.

um.....estp? im not interested in them at all though. they lack tact which is anti-estp (most anyways) so i dont know

I always thought klingon's were more a representation of a historical Earth society than a contemporary group of people(Socionics quadras). I don't know what society they represent, though.

In the original series, they were representative of the Communists. Not sure what society they would be now.

What about the vulcans? They're the most attractive, imo (aside from having a lifespan much longer than mine).

ESFj is a completely misguided answer. beta STs are perfect stereotypes for klingons.

SFs in general are known for being more prone to violence etc and estps are hardly the sort to base their society around "honor"

I don't think they represent a quadra. If we work on the logic that the species of Star Trek represent historical societies I'd suppose that the Vulcans represent the society to come, and by this I mean humans of the future. Anybody else pumped for your grandchildren's great grandchildren's children?

I fully agree, and as far as IXTj is concerned, clearly more ISTj than INTj.

yeah i guess they are kind of introverts....didn't think of that. but arn't we exitting the realm of socionics when we say that?

klingons main features (from my perspective)

    loyal to race
    savage lovers
    stubborn
    warriors

can't think of anymore now right now

    That was my second guess....

Because it all based on "tradition", not necessarily logic, or . It is more about loyalty, what "Klingon's do", as opposed to "what is the most logical approach".

Maybe ISFj is the better choice.
I can also see how SAM said ESFj.... but .... they don't seem very alpha, or emotionally bubbly. Which is why I went for ISTj, or the Ij personality.

Maybe ISTj anyways, as the is based off of the traditional way.... yeah, I know an ISTj bible pounder who is pretty much like Worf ...... hmmm... Oh well.

what udp said. rigid traditional values centered around loyalty (or at least an adherent, more or less static moral system. clearly fi.), ably defended and/or communicated at a moment's notice by se.

Yeah, you would think it would be clear that vulcans pride themselves in being control of their emotions.

    Well, a few points --

    1) Vulcans fit IJ best and then IXTj as Pedro said, and then ISTj IMO. Perhaps they don't fit perfectly in common perceptions of IXTj, but where would they fit better?

    2) They certainly don't value Fe in terms of outward expression of emotion in an stereotypical EXFj manner, or of calling attention to what they are feeling, but their society is also based on proper social behavior (where it is precisely the display of emotions that is the ultimate faux pas) including those silly rituals. That can also be seen as Fe.
