Default I'm looking for anime similar to Naruto and Paranoia Agent

An example of an anime which is not similar to Naruto: My Hero Academia/BNHA. The protagonist (Izuku Midoriya) tortures himself to get power and scripts. This is nothing like Naruto who is seeking recognition but bottling up his negative emotions.

It doesn't have to be shōnen, but it does have to be similar in type to those two.

Flowcharts are ILI objects. This is a good springboard for ideas.

What do you want to feel when you watch an anime? Who are you fav characters? Fav genres? I can recommend stuff from isekai, fantasy and shounen since these are my favs, but how much have you watched?

This might sound strange, but when I was watching Naruto I felt as if my emotions were burning away. I felt as if I was burning in fire but yet experienced extreme joy, as if my soul were being released. As if a close friend were staring at me straight in the eyes and pulling me forward into the future. If that makes any sense.

In Naruto, my two favorite characters were the title character and Pain/Nagato.

I've watched Fullmetal Alchemist (all of the 2003 one, but not all of Brotherhood), Naruto (all of the first, but not all of Shippuden), and that's it.

    My top favorites

    1. Gurren Lagann is one of my favorites, probably my most favorite.
    2. Gundam Iron Blooded Orpans is really good.
    3. Death Note (S1 best of all)
    4. Psycho Pass (S1 is the best, next stuff not as much)
    5. Fate/Zero

Idk. Maybe look into Togashi's most popular titles (Yu Yu Hakusho and Hunter x Hunter).

I was going to suggest you complete Naruto but I'm a manga reader when it comes to long shounen, I can't imagine watching 700 episodes. I second the Hunter x Hunter suggestion but it can get wordy and slow at times. You have to power through the more "filler/educational" parts.

But honestly if you are new to anime just go through the list of every popular one and watch them all. If you like them after 1 episodes you should be fine.

    Shounen that I liked
    1. Hunter x Hunter
    2. Soul Eater
    3. Katekyo Hitman Rebron
    4. Nanatsu no Taizai
    5. World Trigger

Newer ones that I didn't complete yet:
    1. Black Clover
    2. Jujutsu Kaisen
    3. Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba

I don't really like most shonen, and I don't know anything about more recent shows, but given that you like this:

Naruto who is seeking recognition but bottling up his negative emotions.
You might like Katanagatari, which is maybe more seinen, but action-y. It's not exactly the same dynamic, but it does have a stoic hero who becomes more emotionally mature as the series progresses.

Probably not similar to any of those, but I recommend these: Magical Girl Raising Project, Stone Ocean (alternatively Stardust Crusaders), Cyber City Oedo 808

Not that long ago I got through with For Your Eternity. I thought it was excellent.

Another one I've heard good things about but haven't watched is Vinland Saga.

Hunter x Hunter is by far my favorite Shonen. I like it in part because it deconstructs Shonen.

Nobody mentioned it (it's 1016 episodes at this point in time !) so ... One Piece !!
    Black clover
    Kenshin
    Nanatsu no Taizai
Hunter x Hunter the 2011 version. It's good indeed BUT there are too much rules in it, it's insane !!! "Kimera Ants" is my favorite story arc.

Vinland Saga starts as a typical shonen then transitions into a slice of life/philosophical type of story. You will see less and less fight scenes as time goes on. Sort of like Vagabond.

The Yorknew City arc was interesting, didn't care for the rest of the show, but that part was good.

It's unconventional. I liked it. But it has been on hiatus for 6 years and part 3 has just recently started and I have yet to read it. I'm not sure if the quality will remain the same, but yeah.. it's interesting. I will say however that the first part had insane potential and fans liked that part of the story the most. It's an ongoing story. I was hoping you heard about it since I haven't touched it for a while and I'm afraid all my expectations will be shattered when I start reading part 3. Everyone seems to hate it.
