Can you explain to me how economics is a field that is entirely Te? And what Te is according to you?

Economics is entirely Te, as are all the social sciences. Social sciences were never hard sciences, they are always about social engineering, how to make things run as smoothly as possible. Te is about efficiency, optimization, and data. IEIs don't care about data or efficiency, because they are the lyricist. They are looking for the beauty in life and if it isn't efficient or economical, they won't care as long as it's lyrical. Lyricist = lyric poet, not songwriter here. The type namer is Yesenin. The closest German equivalent would probably be Joseph von Eichendorff, but I don't really read Yesenin or Eichendorff since it's not my thing. (Honestly, Eichendorff being in the same quadra as Shakespeare is highly questionable regarding socionics theory itself since that kind of thing is foundational.)

Five Poems by Sergei Yesenin – On the Seawall (ronslate.com)

Translation, but this is Yesenin. It's quite odd all the people you think are the type named after him. Then, it's quite odd Yesenin is in beta. IEI is the type that destroys beta and turns it into gamma though anyway.

I think making business need more Te, researching Economics need more Ti, but as a whole both Ti Te needed. I guess most economists are LII or ILI and LIE - Ni.

IEI has no change lol, they would kill themself trying to learn these things.

Its more believable with EII or EIE interest in economic/T stuff than IEI, because they are T seeking, and not T polr.

IEE could be due to their Ne nature, but it just make thing worst.

Economics is an interesting subject, and sometimes it’s fun to learn how to think in a way that’s not completely obvious to you. I wouldn’t rule IEIs out from studying economics just because te polr.

Can you explain to me how economics is a field that is entirely Te?
    I said " a big part of it " not " entirely - which means completely - "
difference between the two words is clear

Part of the economy related to the distribution of resources , investing it in the best possible way, and dealing with money

Anyway, Asura's job was financer , here's definitions of her job

And what Te is according to you?
According to me , just a function that comes with Fi , I have no personal definition

I use an explanation of Te according to Jung , it was written in Arab typology community , I can't translate and publish it since I have no permission from the author of the article to do so but if you're interested, here's the link of the article on Facebook

    https://m.facebook.com/groups/598997...4334067835519/

Aside from it , Te is about being skilled in dealing with external information (organizing it, identifying good sources to work on, etc.), bringing benefits to yourself/your company/your society etc , and making the best use of anything (person, idea, project, machine, etc.) , being practical and pragmatic*

    Note :

    inventing an idea = Ne

making benefit out of an idea = Te

Of course there's different between Te+Sensing and Te+Intuition , a pdb user gave some examples of things related to each one, her job was incredibly helpful but unfortunately deleted it due to unknown reasons

I meet a good number of them in business, either supervisors / organizers of warehouses, supermarkets, shops logistic and so on, or in B2B sales. They're really good at organizing stuff and they can face big troubles with a cool head. I remember a good number of them in management consulting too but most of them quit after a short while, they lacked diplomatic skills / job was too boring for them. Other that this, most of those I knew seemed to live a fairly regular life, actually they were quite focussed on work. Their biggest problem seemed to be their contempt for the majority of the human race (low Fi?) and some odd sudden life choices (low Ni?). Even my Fi seemed astoundingly good in comparison.
