I found choosing one side was tough, all I could think is life requires both.

    Irrational 15, rational 3
    introverted 8, extroverted 6
    intuition 3, sensing 4
    ethics 2, logic 2

    So Si lead it seems.
Irrationality is the only marked trait, but some tests have given me rational results.
Overall interesting, rare I get a sensing type.

I think I may have disregarded my preferences in favor of what worked best so far, which is whatever suited the situation.
I say "whatever" but it was ethics and sensing most times.

Best thing to do is just choose which answer you agree with more, or whatever one that you feel more comfortable to use.
As you rightly point out, a lot of the elements are likely to be used in an alternating fashion in real life, so your personal 'likes' towards each are what's important when choosing.

    As for me:

    Rational 11, Irrational 7
    Extroverted 5, Introverted 13
    Sensing 5, Intuition 13
    Logic 12, Ethics 6

Kind of expected, I guess. Higher intuition than logic makes sense if I actually am an intuitive subtype.

I don't give a fuck about what I prefer, I do what I must. And that's exactly the problem.

@adage to be fair, DarkAngelFireWolf69 said in the book that this test is reliable only half the time. I think it was a ploy to sell his typing services, but take from that what you will.

Oh wow, that's very honest of him in a way.
But I see how it could make people give him money, won't be me tho.

    Here's what I got:

    10 Irrational, 8 Rational
    15 Introvert, 3 Extrovert
    16 Intuitive, 2 Sensing
    14 Ethical, 4 Logical

IEI is one of the types more commonly suggested as mine, so in my case the test seems to be accurate enough.

    11 Rational, 7 Irrational
    4 Extroversion, 14 Introversion
    10 Sensing, 8 Intuition
    14 Logical, 4 Ethical

So lmao seems I got very high scores on Introversion>Extroversion and Logical>Ethical though my Sensing/Intuition is more moderate tbh. I feel like my Sensing has gotten a lot higher as I've gotten older, but when I was a kid I looked like a total Introverted Intuitive and was spaced out in my head all the time creating fantasy worlds. Now I like to get stuff done in reality.

I have subtracted ties and questions I didn’t understand from the denominator

    80% Irrational – 12/15
    55% Extroverted – 6/11
    94% Intuitive – 16/17
    89% Ethical – 16/18

According to this test I am ENFp, but given how many questions in the I/E section were either ties or incomprehensible to me, I think the I/E dichotomy can be safely discarded, and the confusion explained by me being the Fe subtype of INFp
