    Default 80's & 90's kid cartoons

I'm going to post here openings from awesome cartoons and shows that were aired in the 80's and 90's, to reminisce, and so that people can compare with the crap that kids watch nowadays. This stuff actually had great stories and taught kids values and lots of things. Feel free to comment if you watched any of these, or add any I might have missed.

Batman: The Animated Series! Full stop. For a kids' show, it sure dealt with mature themes.

    * Here's the end scene of my favourite episode, about a woman that can't age past childhood and adopts an unwanted identity to conform with social expectations. The ending is sheer poetry.

    * Here's the end scene from an episode about a mutant freak who finds a colony of other mutant outcasts. They take him in, assuming that his criminal behaviour was caused by ostracization from society. As it turns out, being a violent sociopath was who he was all along. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bqxx6qDQZMk

    * And who can forget Clayface, an actor that never had his own identity and becomes a real shapeshifter. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VpLO7zxsCAs

Cartoons like these are basically modern fables.
