Welcomeyou can create a "Type Me" thread where people can give their thoughts on your type. You can use a questionnaire template found here (https://www.the16types.info/vbulletin/forms.php) to fill out and post on the thread you create.
The Barnum or Forer effect is the tendency for people to judge that general, universally valid statements about personality are actually specific descriptions of their own personalities. A "universally valid" statement is one that is true of everyone—or, more likely, nearly everyone. It is not known why people tend to make such misjudgments, but the effect has been experimentally reproduced.
The psychologist Paul Meehl named this fallacy "the P.T. Barnum effect" because Barnum built his circus and dime museum on the principle of having something for everyone. It is also called "the Forer effect" after its discoverer, the psychologist Bertram R. Forer, who modestly dubbed it "the fallacy of personal validation".
Now that's a bit difficult , I can't just give anyone the key
I haven't read your questionnaire yet, but your avatar is LSI and your name and manner IEI.![]()
Hi, welcome!
You can start by taking this 4 temperaments test
https://openpsychometrics.org/tests/O4TS/
please share your results, and it will give some insight into your nature and thus your type
self-discovery
self-development
optimism
relationships
communication
high ideals
Do you relate to the descriptions of phlegmatic? What about the others?
Some insights:
Just by your results and giving you a type blindly it points toward either IEI (INFp, in case of pure phlegmatic) or ILI (INTp in case of choleric secondary), but I would suggest analyzing the descriptions of temperaments too and seeing which you fit. And you can confirm me if the result is fine
Most likely types (in order of likelihood from the data I have):
1. INTp
2. INFṕ
3. ISFj
4. ISFp
