The doors of hell were opened a long time ago, there is no living form that can take charge of the collective collapse of ego that is about the happen soon as humanity progresses into a more stable form of consciousness and economy is like a drop in the ocean of universal manifestation that is not to be taken as the ocean itself
    Nothing is real

    Party like it's 1999.

That was the last time the world was going to end. Except also in 2003 (Nibiru cataclysm), 2007 (Pat Robertson), 2011 (Harold Camping's rapture), 2012 (Mayan apocalypse), 2017 and again in 2018, this stuff never gets old (David Meade's Nibiru cataclysm returns), 2020 (Jeane Dixon's Armageddon), and on and on until the humans are all killed off by boredom.

I remember that. Some oddball was on The Jenny Jones Show, talking about how toilet paper would become the currency of the post-apocalypse world.

I always figured we were living in the aftermath of the end and didn't realize it yet.
The Barnum or Forer effect is the tendency for people to judge that general, universally valid statements about personality are actually specific descriptions of their own personalities. A "universally valid" statement is one that is true of everyone—or, more likely, nearly everyone. It is not known why people tend to make such misjudgments, but the effect has been experimentally reproduced.

The psychologist Paul Meehl named this fallacy "the P.T. Barnum effect" because Barnum built his circus and dime museum on the principle of having something for everyone. It is also called "the Forer effect" after its discoverer, the psychologist Bertram R. Forer, who modestly dubbed it "the fallacy of personal validation".

Ah, well, we're on schedule for everything to go to shit. And it's not like anyone's gonna try to fix it before it happens, we'll just have to hope as the world slips farther and farther downward we'll find some people who can actually help bring us back up. It feels so weird that despite all the bad things that are happening, there are no hero's seemingly anywhere near power. At least in the us, the only people in power are the ineffectual boomers who are so inept the best person they can seem to produce is Joe Biden of all people, and there seem to be no young people coming from the bottom who aren't just following in the the footsteps of those who have failed before them.
