I'm an EIE who's regarded as a SLE by a couple of known and competent people in the community, because I'm quite an anomaly within that type. Understand that as, I'm an EIE-Estp, unironically. No its not a mistype

I didn't expect MBTI to be addressed (on a socionics forum). Also, to my knowledge, the form "SLE" isn't used in the MBTI.

I didn't expect to be mentioned here. I have self identified as an EIE for a long time and someone typed me as an SLE and I wanted to hear peoples opinions about it. I still see myself as an EIE and have for quite a while.
The Barnum or Forer effect is the tendency for people to judge that general, universally valid statements about personality are actually specific descriptions of their own personalities. A "universally valid" statement is one that is true of everyone—or, more likely, nearly everyone. It is not known why people tend to make such misjudgments, but the effect has been experimentally reproduced.
The psychologist Paul Meehl named this fallacy "the P.T. Barnum effect" because Barnum built his circus and dime museum on the principle of having something for everyone.
