I am going to hit the more "mystical" ones..

    Yoga- EII
Horseback riding: XEI. SEI for comfort and pleasure aspect, IEI for exhilaration of Se suggestion and connecting to the energy of the horse. Racing would be more IEI, whereas leisure rising SEI.
    Horse Vaulting: SEE
Tae Kwando: ILI and IEI. Se suggestive, peak Ni.
I am in my head; not society.

Yes, that is who I am, hence the bold am. Also, a brain angel. (+ my own incarnation of a Zelda concept).

As far as non mystical that are uncovered, volleyball is SEE, you need read relational distance on court to be cohesive unit, and peak Se. Swimming can be LSI, Se and structured movements, and introverted activity.

And adding to my Tae for ILI and IEI (because my computer froze), the activity is mostly Ni, but it does seek to be Se. It teaches you the true roots of things and of how to connect and channel your own inner knowing, and then it aims to knock you out of interim and fight, harnessing your own inner power.

Then, the trainers of the students, the actual fighting ones, can be SLE and SEE. The teachers of mental control, other Ni bases. Duality in a sport..

LMAO. This stereotype makes me cringe- but I've been told I'm really good at this actually.

I think IEI would usually be bad at sports because of the 1D Se & Te- but maybe something slow and graceful. I remember even tho I wasn't very good myself, I could "read" mistakes & openings in basketball for an SLE to take advantage of.

I used to love riding dirt bikes when I was a teenager. I think that sport is mostly associated with Beta STs though lol.

The only sport I've ever played is table tennis. I like tennis overall (volleyball too) but was too lazy for it. Also wasn't confident in my ability to play sports competitively. I've never played this in a actual formal setting so I don't think it counts, but I used to play cricket with my brother and his friends.

I also used to go to chess club and watch them play even though I didn't understand anything.

I'm OK with bikes because it puts so little stress on the whole body. When sports makes you sense your own bodily existence it tends to get worse.

Biking is great in the sense you can cover more territory with the less amount of time and energy compared to walking or running
The main downside is ass chafing.

In any case, shooting is my favorite sport.

I think temperament is probably the most important factor in what sports you prefer. I enjoy sports that involve rapid accelerations, not too much finesse or too sustained output.
For example, I like powerlifting, race driving, and football. Free-form sparring is fun, but not formal martial arts where you have to learn and reproduce complex movement sequences from memory.
Stuff like golf or bowling is boring. Super strenuous sports like triathlon, marathon running, cycling etc. are just too repetitive and exhausting to be enjoyable.

I know EJ who like Triathlon (LSE), or extreme running (LIE, I think this might require Si polr lol), and IP types who like sports involving "harmonious" smooth movements (like yoga, hammer throwing).

Temperament could have some correlation to which sport someone chooses to play. Whether they're any good at it is another matter. Curiously, nobody seems to expect LIIs to be athletic. Baseball was my sport of choice growing up. I was damn good at it.

    EIE Something gay like ballet.
SLE Gravitates towards head concussions and football.
    IEI Same as EIE.

    SEE Same as SLE.
    ILI ?
    ESI Basically good at everything.
LIE Can be good if they try.

    EII ?
LSE Looks like a jock but actually likes dad sports like ping pong.

ILI's are typically the least athletic.
ILE's can either overstress their proficiency towards procrastination in sports that allow changing intervals and continous minimal output (non competetive cycling) or some clearer on/off intervals like lifting. This type works slow and fast unevenly looking for inspiration.

Running seems rational and too painful.

Result Ip (SLI, IEI) seem suggestible to join on impulse.

@BrightDemonSheep96 would be awesome at baseball (1:25):

@Tim, according to Niednagel, the best basketball players were ISTP

    Niednagel himself is ISTJ

Ryan Leaf was ESTJ vs Peyton Manning ESTP

I think Ryan Leaf is more of an SEE than LSE. He’s a carbon copy of another SEE draft bust (Johnny Manziel). In fact, Ryan Leaf mentioned that Johnny Manziel is on the same path Leaf is heading.

    Hmm I see.

It's interesting because Niednagel, despite stating that ESTPs are the best for football, typed Manziel as ESTP. So his system doesn't always predict sports success either.

Another example: Niednagel advised Celtic scouts to get Brian Scalabrine (ISTP) who ended up being a bust. Although he had his moment with Detroit while playing for New Jersey lol

Probably it would be LSI. I have been playing basketball since early childhood and I have no aversion to this sport. When I go on the court, it seems to me that I play the best. I also like to watch the NBA live. If you also make a bet, it's generally gorgeous. I usually do this on best 4raBet betting site in India. The bet was made on Memphis, my favorite team. So if you want to compete with me, then I'm ready.

    Dual type (as per tcaudilllg)
    Enneagram 5 (wings either 4 or 6)?

I'm constantly looking to align the real with the ideal.I've been more oriented toward being overly idealistic by expecting the real to match the ideal. My thinking side is dominent. The result is that sometimes I can be overly impersonal or self-centered in my approach, not being understanding of others in the process and simply thinking "you should do this" or "everyone should follor this rule"..."regardless of how they feel or where they're coming from"which just isn't a good attitude to have. It is a way, though, to give oneself an artificial sense of self-justification. LSE

It seems like every sport I enjoyed at some point or another is related to Si, - table tennis, gymnastics (floor), swimming (breaststroke) and to a lesser degree skiing (high speed is scary).

Used to play soccer and chess in elementary school and while I was among the best at both in my class, regulating my lack of patience required for tactical thinking, poor spatial awareness and memory only caused frustration. Even playing cards annoys me. I just want to go all-in in the first round or however it works, lose everything and do something else.

Now that I think about it, the only aspect I liked about sports was switching to autopilot and enjoying my inner rhythm, but if it required mental engagement, I didn't like it.
