Si cuz nature and Fi because birds are relating to each other though I can't tell if it's for better or for worse since they're blue jays who are crazy MFers ime. I used to take care of birds when I volunteered at a local bird sanctuary and they would immediately dig their talons into my head and otherwise go crazy when I'd show up to feed them. Also, they have no problems bullying predators like hawks. But I like the avatar since I am fond of both nature and birds.

if you could choose a different one, what would you pick?

My avatar represents me remarkably well. The protagonist is dressed in red; my LSE sister said I'm red, whatever that means to her. He travels to the stars and back to rescue planets and to see his GF. If you look at the picture crosswise, it looks like the palm tree is a woman's head, watching him, and I rely on my female Duals to watch my actions and vet them for morality, which I have real problems with. I design weapons for money. The only reason I don't do that for foreign countries is that the US would blacklist my business* and the foreigners wouldn't be able to make up the income loss. Aside from the fact that it's the height of stupidity to bet against the US. (I am not presently Dualized, if you can't tell.)

If I had to choose a different avatar, my distant second choice might be a merchant sailing ship with sails, all sheets to the wind and under full sail, bringing commerce to the world. But I'm a person, not a ship.

I've been invited to do work for foreign governments. When I mentioned that I was being offered a very lucrative contract to do some simple work to my contacts in the government, they gently suggested that I probably shouldn't do that. They didn't say, "Don't do that."
I asked, "Why not?"
They just repeated that I probably shouldn't do that.
I'm not stupid. I turned down the contract. But it wasn't for moral reasons. At least, not for my moral reasons.

I assume these are obvious, but some tendencies I notice:

as @Sol said, F types seem to like animals, plants, and faces, especially faces displaying strong emotion. It seems that Fi people prefer more realistic or serious depictions and Fe more stylized and cutesy depictions. No avatar seems slightly more common for T than F types. Darkness and edginess points to Ni and a wtf avatar points to Ne.

A serious type in a general sense. Some people pose with a serious face and some people just display their so called natural resting face which happens to look serious. Anyway, maybe the photographer didn't bother to ask him to smile (?). He's from another time I would say the the picture has been taken in the 40's. I guess that he lived in a time where like in the early days of photography, not a lot of people smilled in their pictures.
Although there is a certain fragility in his eyes, it feels like he could also send a hitman at his enemies if need be. You don't want to mess with him.
I would say Gamma NT (if so 55% LIE > 45% ILI) or Delta ST (if so 65% SLI > 35% LSE). Other option ESI.
