    Default PowerPoint

Have you ever learned anything from a PowerPoint presentation?

I like powerpoint, every time I have the choice between making a word document or a powerpoint.. I always choose powerpoint. I prefer using pictures, graphs, and videos to show things instead of a bunch of boring text.

I think they can be useful under the right context.

    It's a tool.
It's about what peeps do with it, and maybe some are useless at powerpoints.
Oh boy, that kinda sound like a passive-aggresive statement.
    I'm too tired to care.

I don't find it useful, except for condensing a large amount of information into a smaller space...

Going back to my study days, I didn't like it when the teachers overloaded each slide with text because I would not absorb much and kept my head down writing notes.

My favourite teachers had bullet points on the slides that they expanded on in lecture, so don't think about skipping

You could say PowerPoint presentation has a purpose - to distract eyes from the speaker.

As a teacher I use it constantly (well actually I use the Libre Impress Presentation, but it's the same thing), and I really don't know what I'd do without it. Actually I'd probably just draw a lot on the blackboard
