There is no need to repent about something that is not really wrong. If no abuse, coercion, or anything demeaning happens in or outside the scenes in what you are watching, I don't think it's wrong. From my experience with actual gore, if you try to emotionally detach from it, you might be able to tolerate it. There isn't really a need to do so, but it might be useful if you have to be exposed to it for some reason. I guess theoretically, you run the risk of getting into the fetishes if you look at them too much, although I'm not really sure if that's happened to me. If you don't like something and you don't try to convince yourself that you like something, I think there's a good chance that the disgust factor will keep you from liking it.
