So all of us who have seen the earth at night photos are struck by that. Many of us see it and think, "Communist county. Can't be a good thing." Me too! But I also had a nagging wonder: Maybe those folk have a more natural lifestyle. Lights out at night might help them have a better life.
Well I have been educated.
This beautiful lady is more than a pretty face. She has something important to teach us. Her story is like no other, and she will educate you. Reality is truly stranger than fiction. Her story is more gripping than any movie I ever watched.

2 hours and 12 minutes - that's long. I am guilty of looking for ten minute synopsises of things. Or five. But I have been curious about North Korea, and so clicked on this when I saw it with the idea I was going to skip ahead through it, to get the gist. But within the first ten minutes and I was gripped. Yeonmi is captivating. Her tale is like no other. Like I said - and this is really true - this is better than any movie. I didn't want to miss a single word. Also my husband's had been in the mood for an entertainment movie instead but agreed to watch some of this first, and neither of us wanted to miss a second to the end. And JP is an excellent interviewer. Not intrusive, asks the right questions. Minimal comments from him, and only the very needful ones.
Anyone who watches it, I would like to hear your response.

They have the light pollution thing covered, but they don’t have stable atmospheric conditions. There are very few places on Earth which have both.
