    Default IME vs Personality

Can a gay, sassy guy be an SLE if he processes information that way through IME? Or would he be confused for another type because of his personality?

    Yes to both questions.

He can be SLE, but he may also be confused for another type (possible SEE, ESE, EIE) because stereotypes and memes are often louder than genuine thoughts on the suject.

Yeah, that's what I thought. I think that some people take heed on the stereotypes too much because they take the VI aspect of personality typing too seriously, or because they take stereotypes too seriously in general and don't take into account all aspects of the theory adding up to make a whole system.

idk about "sassy" per se - I'd have to see a real life example but SLE males can sometimes be campy and over the top cuz of the Fe valuing and there are definitely a lot of SLE gay dudes in the gay porn industry lol. ((where they are often inherently sassy/campy but still very masculine and dudebro-ish etc.))

They have 2D Fe though so I mean they can act this way but the sassiness often gets diluted down quite a bit cuz their Fe is 2D & not 3 or 4 D and "sassiness" itself is definitely Fe if you're viewing the functions in a vacuum. People can often be really good at their hidden agenda function tho - to me it's really underrated and 2D functions are going to be a lot stronger than 1D and it can help u get through the world. I've noticed even straight male SLEs will often tell a joke that's kind of over the top and 'sassy' but then go back to being more of a solid logical grim rock. ((as opposed to riding the wave longer with it like a 3D or 4D Fe person would))

Yeah, that's what I thought. Yeah, it's not too over the top but they have their moments.

Yeah, I think that the hidden agenda is pretty powerful, that's what you want to be good at isn't? And yeah they can. Yeah, I can see that too. I don't get it when people just equate every single sassy gay man to an ethical type automatically because of how he acts, when it's the processes behind his thought patterns that matter more. And how he functions within the system. Stereotypes can suck.
