Is there some kind of thought process behind these typings?

There are 4 kinds of "thought process" according to 4 functions.
To use as main logical analysis for famouses common behavior is among bad approaches as needs to know people better than too limited and sometimes incorrect public data.

Also, typing methods which have no T as main process may use T to some degree. In nonverbal VI the main is N, but you get impressions about different possible traits and so you need to process that to understand what types are more possible and in what degree. Some of impressions contradict and some match to each other. It's not like - "oh, it's ILE", you get impressions about different possible traits and then logically analyse these impressions, where impressions specific for some type (by your IR with it, as example) is only one of those impressions.

She seems used physiognomy much. It's S+T approach.
