Which movement to do identify with and which do you feel complements you?
Hindemith: The Four Temperaments
I. Theme [0:00]
II. First Variation - Melancholic [5:34]
III. Second Variation - Sanguine [11:42]
IV. Third Variation - Phlegmatic [17:28]
V. Fourth Variation - Choleric [21:48]
I think Phlegmatic describes me the best but I like Sanguine also. (I can see that as IP seeking EP)
The decisive thing is not the reality of the object, but the reality of the subjective factor, i.e. the primordial images, which in their totality represent a psychic mirror-world. It is a mirror, however, with the peculiar capacity of representing the present contents of consciousness not in their known and customary form but in a certain sense sub specie aeternitatis, somewhat as a million-year old consciousness might see them.
