It depends on how you define "civil war". Are we talking something similar to the North vs. South fighting against each other military wise between 1861 and 1865? Then no, or at least definitely not within the next decade. If you're defining a civil war as the left and the right become increasingly polarized and start physically fighting each other with mass protests against riot police then that's definitely possible.

In consideration of how wrong Xerxe has been on just about every issue under the sun, I'll say No.
no because we are too sedated and idgaf to even think of raising a fist
Probably not ouright civil war—I don't know how an opposing side would support itself with logistical networks being so centralized now.
The United States is a big place, so ethnic balkanization seems more likely. Especially as existing infrastructure continues to breakdown and will isolate some parts more from the others.
Nukes or WW seem more likely.
Let's just think for second what would happen if a band of antifa were to conduct a mass shooting at a MAGA rally, or assassinate Trump.
china's just gonna murder us, best case scenario
worst case: they make us into something that SHOULD have died
Best outcome I see is that the SJW control-freak leftist and the overbearing pro-capitalist proud boy nationalist wipe each other out. I absolutely can't stand either and I would love to see them riddle each other with bullets while another more sensible faction lays back and waits to seize power. Time for some natural selection take place and restore the masculinity the left lacks and the empathy the right lacks.
China had been shat on by the Mongols, the West, the Japanese... but they'd rather still mind their own business for the most part.
Historically, China had rather wanted respect and reverence rather than dominating, invading and having imperialistic concerns. They had built the biggest ship in the world at the time not for exploring, but for showing off and making others respect them. They would rather have people come to them and show them respect. That's where the word "kowtow" came from.
What China is most concerned about is not "losing face".
Xi Jinping wants China's military to be on an equal footing with America's by 2050.

it seems likely that there will be an economic collapse sometime in-between now and ten years in the future and this would prevent a civil war from being possible.it seemed this was the case ten years ago though but the national debt is bigger now than ten years ago.so if an economic collapse occurs it will be worse if it occured now than if it occured ten years ago.it is kinda sorta unclear how such an occurance would go though.
I voted no, simply because I sincerely believe that democrats have neither the balls nor the backbone to instigate such a confrontation. Though if I'm being perfectly honest, prior to the release of the Mueller report I had my doubts. I think that if Muller and his team of democrats and Clinton donors had taken it upon themselves fabricate evidence of collusion or wrongdoing on Trump's end then there would have been a stand off in which both sides would be accusing the other of impropriety, and in theory this escalation could have led to a civil war of sorts.
Of course, this scenario was purely hypothetical. In reality, the democrats weren't able to come up anything substantial and now the Mueller investigation will likely go down as the single greatest fishing expedition in American history.

The problem with the United States is that we say "Liberty and Justice for all" instead of "Truth and Justice for all."

God knows better , but it's not impossible anyway , especially if you have something of that spark that was in Syria before the war (everyone coexisted peacefully together in the cities, but in the villages although there was coexistence, no sect liked the other, and there were some clashes between them every decade, although the prevailing situation was calm. )
