I have trouble understanding dimensionality

So it looks like the fourth dimension, time, is something "global" and infinite while the first dimension depends on only individual point of view. I feel confused because there's a dichotomy abstract / involved for IM elements, make me think global understanding or individual view as something depends on IM elements, but not the function. Even in the original article they only gave examples for 4D intuitions. What are other 4Ds look like? And how can something like ethics of relationship of people become regardless of person?
