In this first post I'll put a list with the usernames of people who want feedback on their types. So if you're unsure about your type or if you're just curious about other people's opinion about it, check in.

This system could avoid inconvenient situations.

This dublicates the creating of own typing themes and that theme.
Those who do not want to get opinions about own types are not interested in the truth about them and hence are not appropriate for this forum, the task of which is supposed to get and give correct opinions about types in general. While own types are a particular case of this task. Due to objective low typing skills of many ones, as the example seen in low matches - there are a lot of mistakes about types of people and own types too (probably ~50%). There are other places for mindless flood with role games.
The attitude against the truth about types and a typology censorship leads to more misleadings about types and hence to mistakes which may harm peoples' lifes. Besides those mistakes reduce the respect to the knowledge, which was used inappropriately and have shawn the lack of the efficiency.

It's more about F types to think as more "inconvenient" to get opinions about types which are against their wishes what inspires negative emotions in them, then by mistakes to get themselves and predispose other people to serious problems. Seems, all cases I saw it's were F types, when someone became very angry, significantly upset or even corrupted the mods by whines and emotional manipulations to forbid saying disagreements about his or other peoples types. Such unreasonable and harmful behavior, especially when is seen staybly, may be thought as a significant factor to think those as having F types.

Since there is no be-all-end-all, a typer who's right 100% of the time and publicly types tooons, we cannot trust any one source. Majority rule is a great idea, except most here are bad typers.

If people "explode", fuck them, they're immature, ban(suspend) them.


That said, I like this thread's idea. Not as a replacement to the other typing thread though. Temper-tantrum babies just need to go.

Ok, I volunteer.
Mainly because I read a comment that I use much more Te in my statements here at this board then Ti.

What I can tell is that SEI-Fe and IEI-Fe are the most attractive types for me. So I value Fe in other people... but not 4D Se demonstrative.

Of all types, it took me the longest time to identify SLIs, it took me over 10 years. Now I see them all the time, and most of the females are already in a relationship, which is very frustrating! (not to mention that I am in a relationship myself) Sometimes ignorance is bliss ;-)

I think it's plain shitty to try and capitalise on that. Let them decide if they want to stay in the "bad" relationship or not, before you try anything.

Posting your typing in the other thread cannot be blanketly judged. Are they doing it at least a little because they want to better community understanding of types (first line of my post)? If so, then 'personal' is irrelevant.

If the post is entirely for the other, and they've asked specifically you* to cease commenting on their type, posting there is harassment and I agree should be a no-no.

Yeah, that's a different situation. The original situation being described was about how the boundary was already set and being ignored by others who were told of it.

By "general you" I was doing a "disclaimer" LOL (completely unnecessary sure, I just sometimes do this anyway)

There's so much I could do. Firstly I would test our level of connection and compatibility. If she fits the description of a dual, I would collect data that I observed in her and would look for it in other people.
I would definitely try to develop a long-term friendship with her and get to know her network of friends so that my chances of finding duals will increase, since they belong to same club. I would pay attention to her activities and visit the same places she does, so that my chances of finding other duals will also increase.

I hope its going to work like that. One of the problems in detecting your dual, is that your dual will behave in ways unexpected under your influence, i.e. unlike the descriptions say. That is why people have such a hard time to detect their duals in the first place.

Apart from that, you will most likely and automatically revert into dualized behavior, being unable to go about it in a very conscious manner, also because at best you can enjoy the fruits of their presence, but you will never understand what makes their strong point tick, you will only understand what their needs are and how to fulfill them.

My recommendation for anyone seeking to be dualized, or becoming more involved with their own quadra people, is to become a psychologically healthy and mature person. When that has happened, these people will come to you automatically, provided of course that you put yourself out there. What you are proposing is an attempt at reversing cause and effect.

Also note that there is more to interpersonal relationships than just Socionics.
