Why do you think each instinct mistype as the other?

I think it wasn't posted before and identifying someone instinct will be much easier. (Sorry for still posting about the instincts I know some people are bored from it, im just obsessed with it lol)

So why do you think each instinct may be mistyped as the other ?

Like the sexual may be mistyped as the social because of the awareness of other people and searching in intimacy (idk if that is true but just an example lol hehe)

i'm also obsessed with instincts i wish there were more research done on it!! i've probably scoured the internet 10 times over for stuff about it by now

imo, once you truly understand each instinct, it's very easy to tell which instincts are working in a person.. if you mistype yourself or a person it means you don't really understand every instinct. usually, you won't understand what you're blindspot instinct truly is because it's so alien to yourself, so that could cause some problems. it took me a while to truly understand what SX represents, without having my strong SO color my perception. once I understood though, it's extremely clear to me which instincts other people use.

Also, Farag, I see you have a lot of questions about enneagram. On personalitycafe they have a bigger forum for enneagram with multiple subforums. as for if the forum is more active than than the enneagram forum here, I don't know. it's all kinda dead everywhere

Plus, the information there is not as high of a quality as it is at the16types. I know, because I checked out several forums before settling on sticking around here.
