Those quotes are meaningless.

I had already typed him as INTp.

Those are the quotes I could find. Asto him being INTP, I thought about it for a while myself, he does seem a little like that, but his life lacks any direct actions (not words, proclamations etc, but direct physical involvment).

Also I could never identify with his indecisivness, first he supports the militarists, then he tries to negotiate, etc etc.

The point you're missing is that it makes even less sense to type a Japanese emperor through some vague quotes and policy decisions than it makes to type an US president through his public speeches. That kind of information provides no clue as to the real individual behind the public persona.

When you talk about "indecisivenenss" - are you aware of the constraints of the political situations involved?

The only way to type someone like Hirohito is to try to find information about his behavior and actions in private, not through political statements and decisions.
