    Default INFp ( IEI ) to INFj ( EII ) ?

    the first time i was INFp (IEI) and then the next two times i became INFj (EII). but now EII sounds like me alot.

    does socionics change? or it is just a mistyping?

    Most likely a mistype since they don’t even share functions. Consensus is types are inborn.

    That they don't share functions doesn't mean much. Quasi-identicals can look, well, almost identical, despite not sharing types. EII-IEI confusion is maybe the most common typing problem there is.
    @Farag, tests can only guess your type; they don't determine it. What in both type descriptions sounds like you? What doesn't?

    I know they can look alike, that’s why I said it must be a mistype instead of turning into another type. I used to go between ISTj/ISTp/ISFj depending on the test/description, I simply mistyped myself not swapped functions daily.
    @Farag
    You should look into PoLR functions, it was really helpful in my case.

    Thank you guys,

    yep i think this could be a mistype,

    EII sounds like me more than IEI, Like 95% to 5%, idk how that mistype happened lol?

    Sorry i am new at socionics, so idk what PoLR function is.

    thank you guys.

    PoLR(Point of Least Resistance) is the 4th function. It’s the most hard and painful function to use, leads to enormous stress as a result.
    Dual-Seeking (5th function) is what you seek and value in others the most, even though you’re not good at it.

    Test accuracy depends largely on exact interpretations of questions, many of which were likely written in another language and then translated. Also, many people have trouble looking at themselves objectively, especially when one is younger than 25, the age at which the brain is usually fully developed physically. There's lots of potential for mistyping. INFps seem to have fulfilment (success?) and belonging (acceptance?) in various forms as priorities while for INFjs, it's more about meaning and understanding. INFps tend to be laissez-faire in nature while INFjs seem to put forth all kinds of suggestions for changing the world. As far as Socionics changing, it should but it hasn't.....

    I figured out that IEI fits me more, I don't like practical matters, and I value who are decisive. Yep IEI Fits more thank you.

    I value more success and acceptance, but I want meaning too.

    I had read about EII in the PoLR SE, I don't lose hints if somebody is interested in me romantically. But I tend to be more direct and and assertive like EII, or maybe in between but when I want to be direct I will, and I am bored from practical matters like the INFp PoLR so yep I think IEI fits me more, what do you think guys.
