Caucuses
Has anybody here been to a caucus?
I plan on going for the first time and I'm nervous about what to expect and would like an overview of your experience. I would benefit from having it spelled out to me like a kindergartener but I would be grateful if you felt like sharing an anecdote that would only be amusing to someone experienced with these things because it would be a flavor.

yes, I went for some weeks to the anarchist caucus of my city. we were like 10 people and they were super happy to have me since I was the youngest among them, there were very important people of my city, whom I would have never expected to be there, writers, pharmacists, doctors, teachers... the anarchist movement is a bit special though, since they don't want to participate in the political stuff but are more action oriented, indeed, they're behind the organization of every damn sensible theme around, green energy, fair trade, mafia, immigrant politics, they organize the manifestations for these things and the rest of the meeting revolves around having read the latest news, the political administration (they comment and criticize everything basically lol)... I stopped going soon but they're still sending me invitations every week : )

No I hate political parties

As I understand it, experience is frowned upon at caucuses and presidential elections.

The cultures/nations of the Caucasus are all interesting, much more so than any naive attempt at direct democracy.
