Yeah I wouldn't necessarily say "suspicious of science" or "can't think for themselves" lol that's so cliche.
It's mainly distrust of the government and their agendas; some people are hesitant because the vaccines were developed too quickly, for example.
There was some statistics saying that 59 percent of Black Protestants say they won’t or probably won’t get the vaccine; many recall how, starting in the 1930s, Black men with syphilis in Tuskegee were deceived and denied treatment over a 40-year period so doctors could study the disease.
I too have many personal reasons why I don't fully trust the government.
I still got the vaccine though.
