I agree, ISTj is more likely.

    ISTj it is.
But, for a certainty, back then,
We loved so many, yet hated so much,
We hurt others and were hurt ourselves...

Yet even then, we ran like the wind,
    Whilst our laughter echoed,
    Under cerulean skies...

What the FUCK, he didn't sound ISTj at all to me, He sound liked like an ENFj..>_>

Will argue loudly in public, and will also be very openly affectionate in public. Theirs seems a volatile relationship.

No ISTj I know would EVER do this...and neither would any INFp's. I would never do this. And I AM open.

Works very hard. Seems rigid in his views, very strongly held and unwavering
Pretty much the only thing that really sounds like it COULD be an ISTj...

I agree that it doesn't sound like your "typical" ISTj but I don't think it's that non-ISTj, either.

I will agree with Aurora. It is very hard to type people by descriptions like this because one tends to get a biased view (ie. things that one notices but which are not necessarily the core of the personality).

IStjs that I know are unlikely to introde into other peoples' sphere of authority and start dressing up the children of others in their parents' presence.
Well I am back. How's everyone? Don't have as much time now, but glad to see some of the old gang are still here.

Very good point(s)! I can't imagine an ISTj doing something that he doesn't have authority to do. In similar situations I have seen ISTjs stare (trying to think things to be different), squint eyes (concentrate and "bend to spoon"?).

Like this one ISTj who is very careful about wasting water. Keeps turning the water off all the time when washing the dishes. And then another person kept using A LOT of water. The ISTj stared and said nothing... lol, the body language was screaming, "STOP wasting the goddamn water!" but she didn't comment. Until about a week later she couldn't keep it in and told me in private - "Don't you think that person uses more water than necessary?"

I still don't see any clear reason that would make him ISTJ. I don't see ISTJs as the hardest workers, some of them are plainly unreliable. ESFP seems possible too. VI could clarify some of these doubts.

I definitely think he's an ESTj. He also seems like he has some sort of religious agenda and issues with anxiety.

I'm pretty sure about this. ISTp seems to be the only other possibility, but he'd have to have HUGE anxiety issues to be an ISTp. My mom is like that except about the car seat and sweater thing. My official vote goes to ESTj. It even sounds like the hidden agenda is there.
