Default Higher deductible or higher premium?

Fascinating topic. We are enrolling in a new plan at work and I have a couple weeks to pick and I was like, ugh, why don't I make a thread and see what people say. I mean, if it would help, I could pick a random fake preference and assert it confidently to provoke people to insist on something argumentatively. Lower deductible is worth the premium, suck my HSA, hard.

Depends on how often you go to the doctor, how expensive each visit is, how risky your life is, how healthy you are, how much you are capable of mitigating your own risks.

Yes, but the deductible and premium are unlikely to be the same by default and the boss might still have strange standards if they're not particularly mathematically literate.

All the countries with superior health care also have high premiums (taxes) by default as well so keep that in mind.

Higher premium/lower deductible if you anticipate seeing the doctor a lot.

I hardly get sick so I'm going for Lower premium/higher deductible + HSA...

But that's the beauty of shopping for individualized plans - everyone has a different situation.

With that being said, everyone in the US needs health insurance... Otherwise if an emergency hits randomly and you get hit with a huge medical bill, you're effed

The taxes laws in different countries for IT earnings can define in the high values. A good way to solve this issue with taxes is to convert all your income into cryptocurrency since the UK government didn't release the proper laws for cryptocurrency holders. Also, you can try to use an online paystubs generator that will help you count the necessary amount of money you should pay to the government. If you have some problems with finding the proper service, you can send me a private message, and I will teach you how to get paystubs generator set properly for your situation.

I thought this was spam when I clicked it .

For an HSA it entirely depends on the person. If you have children, or you yourself are older and frequently visit a doctor or specialist for chronic health problems then a lower deductible may be the option for you. If you don't go to the doctor very often and you aren't going to reach your deductible regardless unless something catastrophic happens then go for the lower premium. IMHO
Bound upon me, rush upon me, I will overcome you by enduring your onset: whatever strikes against that which is firm and unconquerable merely injures itself by its own violence. Wherefore, seek some soft and yielding object to pierce with your darts.
