Fuck, why would you wish that on me? Take all the money, get a sex change or something so people don't know who I am anymore, construct a new identity, live how I want. Someone else can be the biggest target in the country. Or maybe I could make a chimpanzee dictator in my absence.

what USSR was supposed to do - to remove social inequality preventing personal ascending of every human and then to lead people by this way from the childhood
people should be universally developed, but not be maximum specialized what distorts them as persons and makes partly weak
people should not be indoctrinated to live for themselves, but have the attitude to live to make the life of all better. personal interests should not be set above interests of other one. people should care about each other as do with family members

people should not live motivated by hate and fear as they do now. one of reasons for this is individualistic ideology. social competing should be removed as much as possibly. the motivation should be positive - the wish to be better and to better care about interests of other people and people as whole

I suppose such state would be more productive and people felt better.
The problems may appear from sabotage and war by inner elites and by other states controlled by the opposite ideology, as the ones at power there would lost it in case of such changes. Russian elites did a war in 1917-1922, then capitalistic regimes did a war in 1941-1945, while economical sabotage was almost all time. USSR was detroyed by inner elites, members of which instead of serving to the nation have chosen to serve to themselves. Socialism forced to serve to the nation, so they betrayed and by the overturns established the capitalism where became local rich class by the cost of poverty and degradation of the majority.

I would raise taxes on rich individuals and on corporations and use the money to pay for social programs and research. There would be no billionaires in my country, and no companies with a monopoly-equivalent market share.

I would also fund elections entirely from a public fund. Run for office, you get a fixed amount of money to use exclusively for your campaign. If you are caught accepting money from a private source or diverting it to your own private use, you go to jail. This would cost the country less in the long run because the collaboration between large companies and politicians is costing the US more than any election subsidies could.

I would start serious negotiations with other countries to end global warming. We need a global effort to end CO2 production and we need to share technologies to do this. CO2 levels are an extinction-level threat, and efforts at reducing them should not be derailed by oil company greed or by the US lecturing other countries on how they get rich. We need a way for everyone to get rich without producing CO2. (This is a challenge, because one barrel of oil, costing under $100, represents the labor equivalent of about ten man-years of human labor. $100 essentially buys you ten human slaves to work for you for a year. Replacing this with something cheaper will not be easy.)
