A more interesting inquiry: LIIs, do you like to pose penetration?
What do these signs mean—, , etc.? Why cannot socionists use symbols Ne, Ni etc. as in MBTI? Just because they have somewhat different meaning. Socionics and MBTI, each in its own way, have slightly modified the original Jung's description of his 8 psychological types. For this reason, (Ne) is not exactly the same as Ne in MBTI.

Just one example: in MBTI, Se (extraverted sensing) is associated with life pleasures, excitement etc. By contrast, the socionic function (extraverted sensing) is first and foremost associated with control and expansion of personal space (which sometimes can manifest in excessive aagression, but often also manifests in a capability of managing lots of people and things).

For this reason, we consider comparison between MBTI types and socionic types by functions to be rather useless than useful.

After playing DQIX you build up a tolerance to awful puns. It's like some sort of weird masochistic fetish.

I think so. I'm not afraid to ask the questions about things that others may perceive as too deep or too dark for their liking.

Don't sell yourself short LIIs, we don't mind if your probing abilities go to your heads. The way you are able to analyze with ease - no assignment will end in " it's too hard!" for you guys.

When a topic grabs my attention, I do tend to formulate questions in my head. I explore the whatifs, the different angels of the topic and start to wonder. It's a matter of wrapping the proper words behind the questions that come up. I may connect it to things that I have known prior. Or be able to figure certain things out for myself. I will go crazy with asking them if the topic comes up in conversation.

I like to figure out the whys by myself but brainstorming certainly does help. I like to hear other people's perspectives on a topics, if we may have the same viewpoints, or if our views may differ.

Being curious, ideational explorative and inquisitive is completely normal for a type having as creative function (EII and LII).

Cuz of their SE polr (mixed in with Fe over Fi valuing), INTjs will often ask questions that are very emotionally abrasive and rude. Or 'penetrating' yeah- however you wanna say it. Its sort of like the nerd picking up the shotgun & getting some revenge on the bullies (and in his head, everybody is the bully except for the LII himself), emotionally speaking. =/ And its a little creepy when they say it... but it lacks consistency in a sense and then they kinda go back to their boring, dispassionate Ti categories.
