Kierkegaard wrote a review of Andersen's books early in his career. His views of Andersen as a writer and a man are mixed, but Kierkegaard criticizes Andersen for what he perceives as cowardliness and mawkishness. It's not definitive evidence, but I perceive it as being an IEI's critical view of an EII.
Andersen's tales (it should be noted that he was not merely a fairy-tale writer, but also a writer of novels, poetry and travelogues) deal primarily with morals and Andersen's own emotions. I don't see much Ni at all.
