Not sure if it is appropriate to put this thread in the Art, Music, Literature subforum.
It would be good if someone could find a place for non-Europeans to watch the show via an online stream for free.

I think there will be a live stream on YouTube
The assumption that the UK can't particpate at the European Eurovision Song Contest after a Brexit is not correct.
A country has to be member of the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), not the European Union, to take part at that event.

why wud u wanna watch
why are some countries just skipping the initial selections and get straight to the finals? :/
(did Italy perform yet??)
For Non-Europeans:
This might work if you want to watch Eurovision live for free:
Install the Opera Browser
Then turn on the VPN (virtual proxy network), and set the Optimal location to Europe:
https://help.opera.com/en/opera-tuto...-vpn-in-opera/
Then watch the Eurovision stream on Youtube, hopefully:

Just over 45 minutes until this starts (although it generally a while before anything starts happening).
This is the estimated probability that a country will win, of all those with an estimate probability greater than 1% (useful for knowing which ones to look out for):
Country Probability Netherlands 54.35% Australia 12.82% Switzerland 8.70% Sweden 6.06% Iceland 3.57% Italy 4.00% Russia 2.08% Azerbaijan 2.17% Norway 2.63% France 2.00%
The song contest used to be a hudge event when I was a kid. The whole family gathered around the tv screen to watch it, but we all lost a lot of interest as the years went by.
I watch it some years when I feel motivated to do, but more often I do stuff which is more appealing to me... and rest of my family as well.
In the early years it was much more about the art and music... but the music business has changed anyway through the decades.
So far I like Australia. But I didnt hear all songs. I am in a bar and there is so much noise here.
I thought Iceland’s was the best executed overall...the best performance. They seemed like the only ones to take the competition seriously. I don’t know if the “song” actually had lyrics, which is a consideration if you are supposed to vote for the best song. But I don’t know if I could vote for song called Hate Will Prevail if it was up to me.
Australia was my second favourite, and probably the one I’d choose. I also liked Denmark’s and Norway’s, if I recall.
For those who have not watched before: the long process of each country revealing their nation’s votes is half the fun.
For those who can watch it without becoming nauseous: What is your medication? I mean it is a medical breakthrough.
Measuring you right now
I'm glad Mahmood was second, also I was disappointed by the bias of the juries (most countries were voting their neighbors or exchanging favors with each others, also most of them voted "North Macedonia" (!!) just out of pity, bleh).
my top three favs were: Italy, Netherlands, France.
when the Cypriot person was delaying announcing their 12 points, you could hear the crowd in Tel Aviv shouting "Greece", and then apparently they were booing when in fact it was Greece.
I really thought Italy deserved to win.
I also liked Germany's and Estonia's.
Iceland was horrible. Just revolting noise.
It was hard to pay attention to France's song because the lead singer had one of the ugliest faces I've seen.
Australia (among others) had fun effects but the song itself didn't stand out to me.
^ sympathy :/

I thought overall aesthetics.
