I'm constantly looking to align the real with the ideal.I've been more oriented toward being overly idealistic by expecting the real to match the ideal. My thinking side is dominent. The result is that sometimes I can be overly impersonal or self-centered in my approach, not being understanding of others in the process and simply thinking "you should do this" or "everyone should follor this rule"..."regardless of how they feel or where they're coming from"which just isn't a good attitude to have. It is a way, though, to give oneself an artificial sense of self-justification. LSE

My only real interest is changing between interests.
communism and the means to achieve it worldwide
At age 52, I have discovered there are no intellectual novelties left for me to explore. Only old wine in new bottles. No pun intended, because nowadays I'm even bored by the mediocre quality of wine, the result of this institutional isomorphism called MacDonaldization. Only very occasionally I run into some kind of obscure music that lifts the veil of boredom for a minute of so.
I'm in love with Fia Fiell:

ETA: Last june one of my brothers passed away. Around the same time I heard this album by Ryuichi Sakamoto. I learned I am no longer afraid of death, the circle is complete:

When I die, I want the visitors to my funeral to shut up and listen to this album in complete silence and darkness, to make sure they'll remember me, if need be through their nightmares ;-)

“I have never tried that before, so I think I should definitely be able to do that.” --- Pippi Longstocking
My interests also follow such things as viniculture, some architecture, I do enjoy reading medical journals or articles from time to time because they are excellent at describing the actual physiological processes that certain things go through like medabolic processes, energy conversion etc. I enjoy reading news articles by real journalists although I have to admit that because I feel as though there’s more sadness in the world I have been backing away from this. Technology articles draw me in “what can they do with something old?”
