My vote's for EIE.
I agree with EIE. I used to think ESE, but now I’m not seeing it...I’m sure his public image is also different than his personal... and he’s pretty weirdly controlling about it and what he’s shows, more so than the average celeb, so I’ve read online. Of course you can’t believe everything you read on those gossip sites, but
IEE -> my identical
As I am writing this, the movie Top Gun II, which seems to be an extended Air Force recruiting ad, just came out. My SLI son and I were talking about Tom Cruise.
I said that the guy was in fantastic shape for someone 59 years old, and my son, who never has a bad word to say about anyone, suddenly got angry and said something derogatory about an old man who refuses to look his age.
For the record, I believe that SLIs want to look old from the day they are born, so perhaps encountering someone who doesn't want to look old violates their sense of values.
Oh, and given Cruise's focus on visuals and his lack of focus on substance, my vote for Tom Cruise is ESE.
@Adam Strange: reminds me of something an LSE once said to me, that he doesn't like people in their mid-thirties who still skateboard. He thinks they should act their age... you can see the conflict potential with the youthful beta quadra. With gamma you also sometimes have the pecularity that they like the wear suits even when they are young, which looks kinda weird when they have a baby face.
In their mind they are already responsible adults but their appearance hasn't caught up yet
ESE. He reminds me a lot of Shania Twain for some reason...
EIE > ESE
I think in pictures, moving pictures...

I think he is SLE.
Many people of the film industries who know Tom are a little terrified of him. His smile seems not just fake but "alien", and is gaze cold and empty.
It is as he has the need to show himself perfect, hiding obsession of protagonism and fixations. The American Psycho book makes fun of him a lot for these reasons.
Also, SEE/SLE are the types who believe more in conspiracy theories, due to suggestive Ni (Jung said the same for Se dominant in MBTI, and socionics has been able to better explain this).
EIE could be a good second option, but I don't think he could be Si PolR.
For ESE, I can't see Alpha quadra values at all. I think he is Beta.
Just on the border of your waking mind,
There lies another time
Where darkness and light are one,
And as you tread the halls of sanity
You feel so glad to be unable to go beyond
I have a message from another time.
