Could you type me ? Questionaire filled.
a) What is your age range and general location (Country so that cultural values can be taken into account)? Do you have any impairments that may affect the way that you answer this questionnaire? Any religious or political beliefs (or anything else along those lines) that also might have an effect?
I am currently 20 years old and live in the UK, no impairments that I'm aware of, and recently started looking into Christianity seriously after having been part of it my whole life but not studying and practising the religion as much as I should have, but this shouldn't really effect the questionnaire.
b) Which types are you currently considering? Why are you considering them and why haven’t you decided on one?
I'm considering ISTJ,INTJ, and ISTP, I am fairly certain that I am an introvert, and have been since I was a child, however I can socialise with other people and even take initiative to the extent that I lead a social group, as I have done that in the past. But I don't really seek out interaction that much as I've seen in ESFJ friends, until I desire it, I can spend time in a group or alone, but most of my time is spent alone. I believe I'm a thinker most of my decisions are done based on what makes the most sense, for example when grocery shopping, choosing who to hang out with, and what to do, while preference is still there, if necessary these feelings can be muted in order to choose what I think would be the best option in the long run. I haven't decided on one because I've had opinions from people that tell me that I may be one of those three, the most guesses from people have been from those three mentioned types.
2) What do you deem as your purpose in life?
Right now, I deem my purpose in life to finish my degree, use it to start my next degree and train in that field then utilise my skills to help other people, not just in my community but hopefully worldwide. I enjoy being in larger busy cities such as London, and would like to live there or possibly move to New York during the ages of 23-35. I've heard it can be quite competitive or harsh but I don't mind this it still seems like an interesting place to live. Once I'm in a position of influence and have enough knowledge to help people I'll use it to execute certain plans, that I believe will help the community, mainly in the healthcare, lower and higher education industries. Whilst moving towards this goal, my purpose would be to enjoy life and have as much fun as possible while still putting in effort which means hanging out with and looking after friends and family, travelling, going to parties, reading new things and abide by my faith etc.
3) Of the seven deadly sins, which one(s) do you relate to the most and the least and why?
Interesting question I try to avoid doing all of them, but closest would probably be Greed, I don't covet from other people, but I enjoy "luxury" or attractive looking things, food, etc, when I'm getting gifts/cards for people that are close to me, I try to make sure it is good/high quality and looks that way, when I was younger I used to think the speech from wall street by Gordon Gecko was good, about how greed breeds competition and how those actions create a higher standard performance, but now I don't agree with that philosophy as you lose sight of other things, caring for others is pretty important too. I'm also drawn to films like Wolf of Wall street, wall street, or limitless which include an individual working to reach the top and enjoying their skills/gains, sometimes in excess and seeing it fall and them becoming better.
The one I relate to least is envy, If started to feel envious of someone or desire what they have I consider whether or not I can change to achieve this, if not then I try to accept it, If I can change it (e.g someone has a better physique or is well read) I put in effort to improve myself in that area.
4) Analyzing your relationships with others, briefly describe:
a) The type of people you are drawn to
With male friends, I tend to be drawn to ExTx's or IxTx, I like people that are competitive and either confident/strong willed or focused on becoming that, and are interested in doing things that will help us grow. I'm drawn to funny people that have a tendency to "roast" or verbally, sometimes even physically spar with others, whilst focusing on improving their position in society and reaching their goals.
With female friends, I tend to be drawn to more extroverted, emotionally expressive people, maybe the ExFx types. I like similar traits to above, ambitious, strong willed and interested in debating with me without getting offended, and generally up to adventure, seek out new experiences and do new things.More focused on other people than themselves. I have examples with almost all the ExFx types, except for the ESFJ (not yet anyway), but I usually get along with them, especially in social settings, I think we value each other's traits.
b) The type of people who are drawn to you
I usually find that ExxP's are drawn to me, specifically the ENFPs it's strange, we're quite different, but we usually have very similar interests and tastes, they also have tertiary Te which makes them good at logical debating without getting offended. I''ve had different types of people who are drawn to me, but younger guys who aren't very serious (at least on a surface level) are into mma/ufc/bball and lift I get on with due to having those things in common.
c) The type of people you are repulsed by
I'm not really repulsed by many people but people that are selfish/don't think of others without good reason, irrational people, and individuals with low levels of self control come pretty close, as their behaviour usually doesn't make sense as it doesn't benefit them or others in the long run.
5)What are the traits in others that you admire but you cannot emulate yourself? Elaborate.
-Effortless social grace and smoothness, I've been told by others that I can come off as smooth at first glance, but this takes a lot of effort and can be calculated for me to do, I have to sit back and really understand the mood/vibe before or I can do that, or at times I get lucky. Others seem to do it naturally.
-Deep emotional richness within and ease of access to it, I see some people that are strongly connected to who they are and it's interesting, I try to do the same but it comes out stunted and immature, again I have to think, mull over and focus on that aspect of myself to really understand it, even then it's not amazing.
-At times unrestrained and loud assertiveness, I have a calm, quiet assured demeanour but I'd like to develop that into being more evident and out there, especially when in leadership positions.
6) Describe your relationship with the following:
Ready assess to this feeling, I can channel a lot of anger or focus it, it's mainly at the world around me at the moment, and people's emotional reactions to things which causes issues later on down the road for them, for example indulging in things which will cause issues for them and others in the future. It's kind of ironic though, since indulging in this feeling causes issues later on down the road too.
Not regularly, I don't feel shame for a lot of my actions as I try to do the best/correct thing the first time around, in relation to my family and friends I put in a lot of effort not to be in situations that cause this. The closest I get is light shame, when I miss a shot in a bball game, or I miss a deadline for something.
Recently started having issues with the idea of mortality, as I don't feel as strong "physically" as I used too, but I know this is a mental thing, as if anything I should be physically stronger after working out more. I'm more aware of mortality as I age though, this could cause fear.
Feel this intensely, but it's fleeting, I can sometimes love life, what I'm experience and the people around me. I can also have passion for a project I'm doing if it evolves helping others, I don't show it outward and try to let if fuel my actions.
Depends on if I have the resources to come out on top, if I do I don't have too much of an issue with it, even though I'd prefer things to be dealt with differently, If I don't have the resources to do so, then I'll leave the situation.
7) What are some of the themes that have played a prominent role in your life (ie. A struggle you’ve been unable to conquer, ect)?
-Themes that play a prominent role in my life have been friendship especially with guys, if it moves into best friend territory, no one usually gets offended and we both benefit from each other and push each other forward.
-Emotional distance, I'm not really a big fan of feelings unless necessary I don't see the point discussing this, If working on a solution would improve the situation.
-Having a vision to be working towards, a goal to obtain.
8) Answer only one of the following:
a) [College aged and above] What is your area of work/study? Why did you choose this and would you change it? If so, what would be your ideal?
Currently studying a Neuroscience degree, as a precursor to Medical school. I wouldn't change this and I choose it as I was interested in learning about the human brain, how it works and how to resolve issues within it, I also plan on doing neurosurgery, which would be my idea course.
b)[Under college aged] What do you plan on studying/working as in the future? How did you go about deciding this? If this is not your ideal area of pursuit, what would be?
9) When meeting a new person, what do you tend to focus on?
Usually external physical features, how funny they are, how smart they are, how lenient/strict they are with themselves and others. I think most humans do this, but I also subconsciously compare both of us to see if we would good friends or how well we match up. I'm usually open and cordial with most people, unless they go out of their way to be rude/unpleasant.
10) How do you feel about humanity as a whole? What do you feel are some of the biggest problems the human race faces and why?
-Overall I like humanity, I think as a collective and individually we're capable of incredible things to the human eye, and being able to take care of the planet and create a functioning system that takes care of the needs of most things on earth is one of those things.
-However due to laziness, pettiness, blaming other people and not being able to see how individual actions affect the whole cause people to not fully achieve what they could. These are some of the main things that people face, as well as a lack of self control to personal issues, which has a domino effect and large scale impact on the world.
11) What are some of your hobbies and interests?
-Reading mainly non-fiction
I also enjoy chess/martial arts and psychology since the mbti theory fascinates me quite a bit.
13) How do you usually “hang out” with your friend(s)? When answering, think about what activities you tend to choose, whether you hang out with one person at once or many, whether or not you initiate the interaction.
We usually hang out as a group, we go to the movies, play football or basketball then get some food, the hangout is usually centred around an activity even when we are at someone's house we're usually playing a video game or planning what we'll do. It's more 50/50 with initiation but when younger, I'd be invited.
14) What is more important, actions or words? Why?
- Actions, they usually express what a person is really thinking, I learned a lot through learning how to flirt, I also find that women are usually better at this, which is picking up on non-verbal cues, and words just being used as filler and vehicles to either hide true intent or maintain a facade of there being no intentions. I've also heard that body language counts for 55% of communication whilst tone of voice counts for 38% and verbal communication is only 7%.
15) Oh dear, you’ve been cursed by a witch! It’s ok though, you get a choice on which curse you will receive. Will you choose….
a) To never be able to experience the sensation of taste
b) To be immortal
c) To lose your memories
d) To be poor for the rest of your life
e) Or to never experience passion
There'd be other feelings I could experience which could emulate passion. The other things all seem like I would either be giving up too much, I wouldn't want to experience them.
Elaborate on why!
16) What do you hope to avoid being? If it helps, describe a person who embodies what you avoid/you as a villain, ect.
I hope to avoid being wrathful and sadistic, I think this path ultimately leads to self destruction, especially when the realisation of harming other people sets in, I think It would be better to focus on using skills to build and help others instead of destroying things and people.
17) How do you relate to obsession? Do you tend to "merge" with others or your interests? How do you feel about the idea of doing this?
I don't get obsessed with people, but I do get obsessed/passionate about things such as my craft or interests, I find that my life is better as I have a purpose and my growth seems to be faster than when I am doing something I am not obsessed with. Whilst I wouldn't recommend it as a primary way of doing things, It puts me in a flow state mentality, where the work being done is effortless, information is easy to absorb and I improve in the topic. Obsession is good only when controlled and utilised properly.
18) Organized or messy? Plans and blueprints or impulse and surprises? What are you preferences and tendencies?
I am a hybrid of both leaning more towards organised, my room is slightly messy but can but to others it may come of as organised with a few things around. I work quite well with plans and blueprints and can create them for allocating money, exercise etc. But I could be better at planning things such as shopping etc, an ISFJ I used to share a house with in university said she liked my dishes but they were not very planned, I'd get the ingredients and make a healthy meal but I would think of what to make the same day or a day before. Now I've started meal prepping.
19) How do you subjectively view comfort and how do you create comfort in your life and surroundings?
I like to be in a clean, well organised environment, I try to create this by cleaning my room/house regularly/every week, and eating well, I've looked into the idea of curating your social group to ensure comfort, but I don't do this, just to see what opportunities it could bring or new connections I could find. But when I can I try to hang out with productive people, and be mutually beneficial to each others growth.
My first guess would be SLI, I think.
It's quite difficult getting typed properly with a questionnaire. Especially if it's a short mbti questionnaire. I recommend you to post a video. You can find all the required information in the section. If you'd rather keep anonymous I suggest to choose a different questionnaire. We got a good questionnaire here. You can click on it from this page too. It's in the blue bar on top of the page.
do you think you're rigid logically? are you more stubborn or accepting? do you have any particular rules you live by? which annoys you more, a dramatic person screaming excitedly or someone who jumps around with too many ideas?
- Yes, I've noticed I have a harder time than others dismissing what makes sense in favour of what feels good to myself or others, I've recently learned to do this though, when helping/comforting others.

- Most likely the dramatic person screaming excitedly, idea generation isn't too bad.
i think youre SLI bc you dont seem rational and you prefer ne over fe
this read like an ILI-Te so/sx
