If y'all haven't seen/read "The Promised Neverland" I'd recommend it. The first season and the manga in general is both a perfect metaphor for what we're currently living under in the West and is packed with

. Ray is a broken ILI that I heavily identified with. Cynical, thinks it's all hopeless, engineers a situation that grants him a remote possibility of maybe, maybe, possibly winning whilst still doubting that chance yet he just can't help but roll those dice because gosh darn it he actually still fucking cares. Emma's optimism kind of pisses him off but I'm pretty sure she was also a gamma type and possibly an SEE. I need to read more of the manga to be sure but Ray is eventually won over to her side that insists on an "ideal" solution over his ruthless pragmatism. The last episode really drives it home. Homie did a pure ILI move given the data he had access to, and Emma had a different way forward. Won't spoil it but it was awesome.

Sadly the second season diverges from the manga and I do hate it when that happens but at least that first season was amazing. Watch it.

This scene seemed particularly Ni to me. Maybe this guy (Inspector Finch ) is ILI, tho.

I think Alan Moore, the guy who wrote V for Vendetta, is probably EIE.

okay I realize you guys were talking about this in 2018 and it's 2022 now...

but yeah I think Hannibal in the remake tv show was a lot more LIE-ish... the 90s movie Hannibal was a lot more classical ILI to me. They basically did an updated mirror type refresh thing to keep things fresh and interesting but still have a similar character. Hitta would always talk about how show Hannibal would troll Will so him being supervisor to Will makes perfect sense to me.

Sublime and so ILI (imo best execution and aesthetics compared to recent shows of similar type). Most characters don't have a clear type due to depression. Helly is like the SEE inner light of ILI (does not have real SEE's role Ne diplomacy)

If he's ILI then I'm ILI, because I have never watched a movie and seen the spitting image of myself, in terms of very subtle and nuanced behavior not appearance, down to the protag's bad memories, down to the way he dealt with the violent brother, down to the way he moved when he talked, facial expressions, everything, it was really weird honestly, I felt like I was watching me on screen. But I'm EII, maybe it's enneagram, but I definetely yea.

Ah, that's disappointing about the absence of movies and TV shows. I'm a big fan of the horror genre myself, especially the classics like John Carpenter's films. There's something about his work that really resonates with me. Speaking of which, have you stumbled upon any new release movies in the horror genre lately? I'm always on the hunt for fresh scares and thrilling stories to sink my teeth into!
