I don't really watch much anime nowadays, but I used to in the past so I figured I'd a thread where we post our favorite anime scenes would be nice. I'll start with this one and feel free to add your own *Spoiler Alert*:

It's much recommended for you to watch everything prior to this scene. I remember not seeing much from Killua up to this point.
There's an older version, more faithful to the manga:
I like the music, though the newer one works better imo. Problem is in the newer scene Killua is presented somewhat differently.

My favorites are any and all scenes with Hisoka in them.
Edit: I don't like how most of the youtube uploads of anime fights seem to skip through bits and pieces of them and make them shorter - but this is still a pretty good scene!

What I like about this anime is the protagonist has no special powers aside from being badass and fearless.

The best scene in HxH is bar none Gon vs Neferpitou, and every scene between them after kite-o dies.
Naruto vs Sasuke when they both had drained their reserves of chakra and had to settle the fate of the world while fighting like children. Pulling hair, crotch kicking, throwing rocks and biting.
The opening to Yu Yu Hakusho where he dies altruistically and even God himself didn't think Yuseke was capable of being a decent person.
Projection is ordinary. Person A projects at person B, hoping tovalidate something about person A by the response of person B. However, person B, not wanting to be an obejct of someone elses ego and guarding against existential terror constructs a personality which protects his ego and maintain a certain sense of a robust and real self that is different and separate from person A. Sadly, this robust and real self, cut off by defenses of character from the rest of the world, is quite vulnerable and fragile given that it is imaginary and propped up through external feed back. Person B is dimly aware of this and defends against it all the more, even desperately projecting his anxieties back onto person A, with the hope of shoring up his ego with salubrious validation. All of this happens without A or B acknowledging it, of course. Because to face up to it consciously is shocking, in that this is all anybody is doing or can do and it seems absurd when you realize how pathetic it is.

Because hindis are cool. Also copyright
Dragonball Super was sometimes cheesy and illogical, but it also had some great moments.

Not even from an anime, just a backstory done in anime from Kill Bill Vol. 1 that is incredibly realistic and horrible, but very well done, NSFW:
