Serious Left-Static Negativist
from the movie "The Informant!"
My husband and I just watched the movie "The Informant!", now on Netflix. What a great movie. Better I do not explain the movie, because I think it is most enjoyable to watch the way we watched it - knowing nothing of the story. But what we did not know, and what you may want to know before watching is, is that this is based quite closely on a true story! It's a movie that you would call a comedic crime film (white collar crime), and its very engaging.
From the start of the movie, I got an immediate ENTp read on Whitacre, the "informant". I wonder if who else watches it or has watch it will agree? And his wife is clearly a stalwartly-devoted ISFp. The real life characters, while of course looking different IRL, also, are these types, very clearly, both in VI and in their personality manifestations. I have serious reasons for typing them this way, but I won't explain in this post because I don't want to spoil anyone's enjoyment of the movie with too much information. My husband and I were really laughing after the tension built to a climax, and I don't want to deprive anyone else of a good laugh.

"Having a clear faith, based on the creed of the Church, is often labeled today as fundamentalism... Whereas relativism, which is letting oneself be tossed and swept along
by every wind of teaching, looks like the only
attitude acceptable to today's standards." - Pope Benedict the XVI, "The Dictatorship of Relativism"
