Ok after some thought and husband mentioning my little crush on Rod Stewart which I admit has been there for some time, then maybe, just perhaps this could be my favourite song. Likely due to me on a personal level agreeing with the lyrics of ‘the first cut is the deepest’ i.e. first love can be deeply ingrained in the memory.
