I had always thought that it was ST club that are more micromanaging, but lately have been doubting my position.
And if i were right, which of the ST types are more likely to be micromanaging?

I just wanna say here that micromanaging is probably the one behavior that ticks me off the most in other people. I greatly value my sense of being able to do things well and by myself and it throws me off balance when others actively disrupt that feeling by pointing out mistakes and making me feel like an idiot. Whoever micromanages people's actions on regular basis without making a serious attempt to be polite in how they do it can go fuck themselves.
I had to Google it because I didn't know what it was.
Yeah, I hate it too.
As far as I can say, when I start micromanaging then I realize that I operating in panic mode.
Micromanagement is largely an insecurity affliction and isn't really type related. However, a huge percentage of mid to low-level managers and supervisors tend to be ST-types so when one comes across a micromanager, that person, statistically, will likely be ST.
a.k.a. I/O
Micromanagement indeed isn't type related, but the way micromanagement manifest itself is. The MM of LSEs is aimed at maximizing efficiency of performing single operational tasks, that of ESEs and EIEs about driving people to perform more or work faster, regardless of operational efficiency or effectiveness (Te-role), that of LSIs about how tasks are performed (favors Ti over Te, so efficiency is not the goal here). In the case of IEEs and SEEs the micromanagement is predominantly aimed at themselves (Mobilizing Te).

Well i never in my life had ST manager and there was like 20 of them. Never experienced micromanagement. My last manager was NT and previous manager was just for work related issues and was SF. And the rest was similar to them. In my 22 years career I had only two ST coworkers and both were thinking that our NT gang was kind of crazy and that we had lot of luck in making our way. There were some more ST types but they have quit upon seeing that things change upside down on daily basis.

Sometimes, micromanaging is required, but once everything flows nicely.....stop.
